Hello everyone i just recently quit smoking and switched to vaping im on 2 weeks and 2 days . i just recently bought the hades 26650 v2 mod with a 26650 battery and have a couple of questions about the battery . i have a .24 dual coil build and im nervous about the battery venting . my battery specs are 26650 3.7 volts and 3500mah i was wondering what the amp limits are cause right now im pushing 18.5 continuous discharge rate ???? help the battery brand is Sinhigh/OEM you know the normal blue wrapped batteries that come with chargers .

I thought that there were only a few manufacturers for the 26650 format... From what I've found with a quick Google search has been pretty consistent, but I would still like to confirm the exact battery you are using. Most of the info I've found indicated 20A continuous draw max and 60A pulsed.

Battery Basics for Mods <--- list of batteries and their amp limits in continuous discharge rate.

MNKE 26650 3500mah 20Amp continuous discharge rate
Sony 26650 2600mAh ​26Amp continuous discharge rate
Panasonic 26650 CGR2650A 2650mAh 50Amp continuous discharge rate

The above specs can vary depending upon what vendors advertise. I tend to trust the more conservative specs just to be on the safe side of error. We tend to value the continuous discharge rating over the pulse rating, which will always be higher than the continuous.
