So i seen this same question asked in another part of this forum but no one answered the person and its been 4 days . I recently purchased a 26650 hades mod and its in the mail but im curious on which battery to get for it . the sony is a 2600mah and i heard the mnke or whatever those are called are 3500mah . i only plan on making .6 or .5 builds but i was wondering will the sony last longer than a 18650 2600mah? Im curious . besides buying the mod for the looks i bought it for longer battery life. thanks again =):vapor:

thanks idk if they answered all my questions though lol i was looking at the max amp discharge and it says 26 but its a 50amp battery . i was looking and a battery fresh off the charger at 4.2v and a .6 build it comes out to 29 amps, wouldnt that be dangerous for the battery? im just trying to play it safe obivously lol especially since those are big batteries!

Either battery will be suffice for your builds. The more the mah on the battery the longer vaping time that can be done which what you are asking about. With those two in mind, the higher mah - the longer vape time - would be the mnke battery.

Now a comparison between an 18650 to a 26650 with the same mah... does that really need to be answered? The only difference is the amp rating and size.

MNKE = 20 amp continuous
Sony = 50 amp continuous

That's what I look at, now if you had the specks on a 50 amp 26650 MNKE then and only then would mah rating have any bearing on a
comparison.

I have 4 Sony's and one MNKE, that's my answer for you.

if were talking about the same sonys ive read on here and on websites that sell them they have a continuous amp output of 26 with 50 pulse but i understand what your saying. thanks for the reply!

I just put my MNKE 26650 under a current test and it put out 20A continuous with no load on it. Meanwhile my 18650 VTC4 under the same test put out 30-35A continuous. Recently I purchased a Helmsman with the thought of being able to push more amperage and sustain a lower resistance rating for pushing bigger clouds but the 26650 isn't all its cracked up to be. My builds are extremely aggressive and staying safe is primary concern when attempting to achieve the results that have been theorized on paper. Does anyone have a real time comparison of the MNKE 26650 vs the Sony 26650?

I've been conducting all this testing on a Fluke multi-meter. Safety is the key for what I'm attempting to achieve here but without proper comparison numbers I can't make a solid comparison of the 26650 performance vs the 18650. Right now the 18650 is blowing this thing out of the water.
