Hi H.E.!

Yeah....I sort of thought about how I should've posted this originally in it's own thread after the fact :) You're absolutely right about that!

As far as all your other thoughts....Thank you BUNCHES!! This is pretty much exactly what I was searching for (explanation of some of the differences between vv, vw, etc....). You've put it into terms that I totally "get" and now have a better idea of which way to go.

About the dna 20/30w mods....yeah, I see how that's the ferrari in the school pick up line :p and now realize that since I'm not doing any rebuilding myself (yet, anyway...) I probably do not need to go that far right now...

Thanks for your time and all your input! It's truly much appreciated!!

Happy day to you! ck

Happy to help.
Mvp2 will handle getting into rebuilding, so if you do want to get your feet wet there eventually it will handle 1.4+ ohm builds pretty nicely. If out find rebuilding is for you you can upgrade and the MVP can be your backup. If not, you didn't spend 2x+ on a mod that you only use 20% of the functionality on.
I really think innokin nearly hit the nail on the head with that MVP... I just hope they update it soon with their new collaboration with Evolv (makers of DNA)... The one thing I don't like about the device is the lower watt limit (more watts means more versatility as you go along your vaping journey) but more importantly a better display/menuing system.
Only issue there is I think they are paying like $40 for the board... So that would really drive the price up on the MVP :( the new svd2 is around 80 (has the evolv board)...

I'm rambling...

Hey Jamie!! Wonderful!! Thanks so much for your thoughts!! It's funny because when I first started out I thought I would never see myself doing any of the rebuilding "stuff"....ever. Now, I find myself very interested in learning about it! So, to answer your question if I've looked into rebuildable tank attys, no....not yet. But am thinking I may want to learn all about this in the near future because the more I see people who vape this way and the more I see it on you tube or read about it....I really think it's the way I want to go to get the most out of my vaping.

I will definitely look into the fogger V4 and thank you for sending that info my way!! Much appreciated..

CK

Oh, and ofcourse you are most welcome! Glad it helped.... Would have been a shame to have written that for nothing :)

Oh wow...thnx! The thought had not even ever occurred to me that I could use rebuildables on an Mvp2. I guess though, now that I think about it, it being a MOD, I should be able to use certain rebuildables as I would a "simple" carto/clearo with it. Cool. Another thing I've picked up now...thanks!

Looking at the svd on innokin's site looks like something I would really enjoy using! And, IMO, it's not too bulky looking or awkward to use/hold. I'm thinking though.....before I get into more advanced Mods, I think I am most likely going to follow your idea (and a couple of other people's too) and seriously look into the Mvp2. Especially because now I know I can "get my feet wet" with this one too.

This is great...I'm actually even more excited about getting one of these now!! :p :2cool:

Thanks again!!

the svd would probably work too - but I think those tube mods are GIANT. I have a SiD which is basically a zmax device. with a tank (kayfun) on it the thing is over 8". It falls over a lot and rolls off the table.. its not super pocket friendly (hangs out, knocking your tank against things). I liked the idea of a tube mod at first, but as far as going out and about I think the box is a much better formfactor until they figure out how to cut down the size of the control head (the thing that attaches to the battery tube and gives you the vw/vv and safety).
additionally with the SVD - if you go that route be sure to get some good quality batteries from a reputable source (~$10 each - get 4 or so and some battery cases for when you are out and about). there are a lot of knockoffs out there advertised as the real thing (amazon and ebay are NOT reccomended). You will also need a good quality charger, I have an intellicharger i4 that hasn't given me any problems ($20)
Like I said, MVP is a lot cheaper.. LOL
