I use my multimeter all the time to check resistance on cartomizers, etc., you'd be surprised how much variance there is from the advertised resistance value with some brands. Also helpful in finding a problem when something isn't working the way it should. Is it not working because of a bad connection, a faulty battery or open coil? With a meter, you can find the answer.
I'd consider a meter as a necessity for anyone who wants to start re-building
coils and helpful for anyone interested in knowing how your
devices are working.
