Hello everybody,
my name is Vasilis, I'm 21 y-old, I study Civil Engineering and I call my self a radio producer. Phew, I managed to introduce the very basics of me in less than a line. As you all have guessed I joined this forum because I'm a new vaper. Actually, I'm a really new vaper with just four days on my back.

I'll be here, asking questions (LOTS of them) mainly because I feel a bit disappointed with vaping. On the bright side, in four days I've smoked 3 cigs, which makes me really happy!

Velcome Vasilis , and congrats! I think, it is most important to choose right, reliable piece of hardware. Say your needs, and tell us your problems with your hardware. I am sure, you will find stuff for your needs with very good functionality. Every week we see great developement of vaping hardware. We are in smokers life dream I think! A am so happy, that this new vaping decade I catched! Go and ask here.
Just blind recomendation for first:
clearomizer:
Kanger Aerotank v2

baterry (variable wattage mod):
Sigelei Legend v2, or Kanger K-Simar

- Aerotanks worked for me flawesly and Sigfeleis and K-Simar has spring-loaded 510 center-pin, which is good for threats and compatibility for various tanks - clearomizers, rebuildable atomizers etc... good luck!

I have a very simple setup. I'm using the mvp 2.0 with a mini pro tank 3. The Iclear 30 the mvp came with just didn't cut it, hard to hit constantly getting juice in my mouth it just sucked. If it wasn't for the pro tank mini 3 I would have never quit smoking! I suggest you give a few tanks a shot and start out with a simple mod. I'm rather new to the vaping scene myself. With that being said I haven't touched a cigarette in over 30 days after being a two pack a day smoker. I also have NO cravings! I highly recommend the MVP 2.0 and the kanger tech mini pro tank 3. Check around online I purchased both for under 60$ The battery can last me up to 3-4 days without a charge, 1-2 if I'm vaping really hard! You can also rebuild the atomizer coils inside it! It really depends on how far you want to go with it. I would also suggest doing a google search on popcorn lung and vaping, a few chemicals in e-juice are known to cause popcorn lung and other respiratory problems! This can be avoided by educating yourself on the subject.

Best of luck!

I agree with corejuice, just maybe over Mini Protank I would go to Mini Aerotank, as it has adjustable airflow, which is very, very helpful to adjust incoming air according your needs. And yes, Sigelei legend v2 is quite big, but MVP v2.0 is nice piece of hardware. In case you will want some cylinder-like, but smaller, go to Vision Spinner v2, or even better Kanger iPow2. It depends on your needs. If you want to buy separate baterry and charger - and have bigger capacity and versatility with possibility to change baterry just after they are gone (Sigelei Legend V2), or have one or two cylinder-like baterries with possibility to charge it via micro-USB (Kanger iPow2), or more simple, but reliable Vision Spinner v2 with adjustable power by rotating lower-ring... better to say - we can give better recommendation with knowledge of your needs... share it. :)
Man, now is soo many good things on the market, that it is almost hard to choose one. I think, better to buy some reliable, not as cheap, but working stuff.

Stepping up from an ego to something like an MVP2 is like stepping up from cigalikes as I remember my experiences.
Another Mod to look at would be the iStick by eleaf. It's gotten some good reviews. The MVP2 was replaced with the MVP20w. Either one can be found for around $40. both eleaf and innokin (maker of the mvp) have announced that they will be putting out updates to their products late this month.
The PT3s are decent from what I read, but the Aerotank is better. Above those the Nautilus Mini BVC is supposed to blow those out of the water.

What do you currently have, and why are you disappointed? maybe that will get you some better recommendations or fixes for the gear you have.

These are the chemical names I forgot, but wanted to mention in my previous post. diacetyl - acrolein- formaldehyde. My understanding is diacetyl - acrolein are found in certain e-liquids, etc. Try to stay away from custard - "buttery" flavors. VERY high wattage mods could possibly create formaldehyde. (PG at high temps?) I just wanted to inform you! Google will go a long way,I'm still learning and people keep posting new information! IMHO It's still safer to vape than smoke! Most of the people against vaping are just fear mongers, they talk about e-cigs causing fire, but they don't compare it to how many people fall asleep with a lit cigarette, someone forgetting a lit cig etc. I apologize for the sloppiness of this post I'm a bit tired.:vapor:
