Hello! newbie from Nj

I must say this forum is pretty awesome! well it's been 5 days since I quit smoking analogs. I have been an analog smoker for 18yrs and quit multiple times and failed. I stopped at a 711 store and noticed an electronic cigarette, I was curious so I went and bought it. I mean this thing looked like a cigarette with the glowing red light. I think it was made by Joy or njoy something. I tried that and seems to work but I didn't like the idea of it looking like a real cigarette for some reason. Then I found switchback from vaporbeast and its like love at first sight I have been using it for 5 days now and love it. The first 2 days of not smoking analogs was very rough I found myself vaping heavily because of that crave for analogs. But after that I feel different. I feel lighter for some reason and a lot more rejuvenated I guess. Very happy finally! tomorrow, day 6. Big thanks to Tim and his crew at vaporbeast. And big thanks to Pbusardo, been watching his youtube videos and learning.

OK, so when exactly does the novelty wear off??? I'm almost at the 5 month mark and it hasn't worn off for me yet!! I'm loving this new hobby, and that's exactly what it's become for me. I don't WANT the novelty to wear off!! I'm havin too much fun! And I STILL vape all day long.. yeah, I reduced my nic level a bit but the flavors are just so fabulous! And analogs in upstate NY are over $9 a pack

Not to worry, maybe at about double the time, you find that you can put it down for minutes at a time... I vape heavily but not like the first few weeks, when I wasn't sure it would work and allow me to quit cigs. AND it's still fun !!!!

Thanks for the welcome! $9 a pack is ridiculous! yeah I stopped buying cartons of analogs and actually rolled my own and actually cut down by limiting the amount of analogs I would roll to take to work, around 10-12. But I cheated most of the time and would roll maybe 20 so I would have extra to stash in my toolbox and my stash would just accumulate and end up smoking more. But anyway, yes the flavors are amazing! I really like the coffee, its very smooth and sweet.

Haha, I would roll 10 or so for a workday also, a good price for a carton of 200 is 74.48 up here so yeah, I rolled 'em.
25-30 bucks a week is better than 74.00/wk!

Harder saving on vaping vs. smoking but who cares? More fun, tastey and oh, almost forgot...

Hello Thraizer, When I put down the analogs I was the same way. I found myself vaping more than I use to smoke but, eventually I leveled out. I first started on the Logic Menthol flavor. I tried to quit many times before and i was unsuccessful. As soon as I used an e cig I knew right away that I could finally put down the analogs.

Very glad to know I'm not the only one!! I still vape WAY more than I ever smoked, but these flavors keep calling me! I live near an Indian reservation so when my beloved Marbs hit the $7 mark, I started buying the cheap native brands.. ICK. They were truly harsh and horrible, but I smoked em anyway. $24 a carton was surely better than $75 but I knew I was killing myself faster. THANK GOD I got that free trial email that day, and also THANK GOD I didn't fall for that, but started researching and found this fabulous place!
