Hi everyone,

I just joined this forum today in order to ask you pros a question! I want to buy an electronic cigarette but know what supplier to use. I have checked a couple of websites but I have seen ads in the paper for a company called total cigarettes. They seem quite professional but once I got on their site it didn't seem as professional as the other sites I encountered. I'm just wondering what you guys think. Would you buy off this site?! Buy The Best Electronic Cigarettes at Total Electronic Cigarettes

Cheers!

I second what JoeChemo said. The other place might be OK (I went to their site, not real impressive, but I've seen worse), but for the most part the forum suppliers are reliable. I would steer you away from Blu, though, despite them being a forum supplier. Whatever total cigarettes is selling is probably just a branded version of what other sites offer, or something very similar. Worst case though it could be garbage that ends up DOA or only works for a week.

I use, and like my Element from Halocigs. I don't know if they ship to Ireland or not. A lot of forum members will probably try to convince you to go with a larger battery system. I think Halo would make a great starter for someone new to vaping, but similar systems and even larger battery systems can be reasonably priced if you shop around, so I would take whatever recommendations others make seriously and do some research before you decide.

I know of two vendors that are used for both US and UK buyers. I'm from the states so this is secondhand info for the UK side but Liberty Flights which alot of US buyers use have a UK storefront here: E-Liquid and totallywicked has a UK storefront as well here: Electronic Cigarettes / E Cigarette and E Liquid from Totally Wicked

I've seen their US stores referenced alot here so I would imagine they are safe bets. But you might want a second opinion as well from someone who has first hand knowledge. Good Luck!!

seem like an entry level device to me. do yourself a big favor and purchase a more durable longer lasting device. like others have noted the forum suppliers on here have good devices. the one I use is on here, let me know if you need a link.

Mack - be careful. Most sites that look professional, especially if they have "24-hour live help" or "testimonials" are often rip-off rebranders. Do not buy anything without knowing what model it really is, whether it is a good model, and whether you are paying too much for it. And one good rule - if a place does not sell blank carts and eliquid then immediately look elsewhere. but even some places that do sells carts and eliquid are not good models to buy.

Get 5 non-spam posts/replies and wait about an hour then you will be able to ask in the UK section of ECF - they will know what the best and most supported available models are. You really don't want to be locked into one vendor for supplies - some of them have stock issues and worse.

Hi Mack1,

All these guys are correct you should do research first but it is worth noting that most of these companies selling e cigs online are all sell the same model but made in different factories in china as ripoffs to the original versions which is why a lot of stuff doesn't work so well. I bought my first e cigarette of Total Cigarettes (TC) which was the TC Pro (DSE501) which is great and what drew me to them was a couple of things: First I would prefer to spend my money helping out the little guys rather than buying of the same big companies like everybody else. Supporting the underdog :). Second, Unlike most other companies you get quite a good 'bundle' with these guys 3 chargers spare atomizer and 16 cartridges. I don't think I've seen that anywhere else before for that price and the big thing is I never had any problems what so ever although I did try there E juice and it wasn't great! The only thing I do is buy a replacement atomizer every now and again as these pack up after hard use which is typical in the industry.
So do some research first to find whats best for you but my experiance with TC has been good so I hope this has been helpful and Good Luck!!

Hi Mack1, regarding Total Electronic Cigarettes I was of a similar opinion as far as the look of their website - not exactly web 2.0 - but read through the site, and fired off an email, and got the reassurance i was after. Picked up the TC Flight II their most recent e-cig and have been really happy with it. Was concerned 'cause they are in Gibraltar - I am in London - but so far no supply issues. Bottom line is, do as much research as poss, but like a few people say here, don't judge only on first impressions....Cheers

I think those are rebranded KR808D2s. Very common for a rebrander to use and overcharge for. Though they aren't gouging that much. There aren't a lot of accessories available for them though. I think Liberty Flights has a British site. You'll do better on there.

Hi MickeyRat what do you mean when say 'rebranded KR808D2'? Do you mean like a reseller? TC mentions a long period of research and development. Is that all smoke ;-)

Now I have to take it back. I went back and looked and it's definitely not a KR808D2. Not sure what was up when I looked the first time but, it's not KR808D2 now.

Regardless, there are only a few companies making these things and most of them don't market directly. I'm sure there was a "a long period of research and development". I'm not sure TC did it though

Thanks for the heads up Mickey Rat, my eyes are opened a bit....in any case my experience with Total Electronic Cigarettes has so far been good......

I know I am still a noob since I've only owned one PV in my vaping hobby, but I have had my Joye eGo for 5 months now and am still on the first 2 batteries I recieved and have zero complaints. Just my 2 cents, but I've always been a name brand buyer, saving up to buy something more expensive if not only for some peace of mind.
