Hi, everyone. After a few very disappointing experiences with vaping years ago, I recently decided to give one of the new 'pod systems' a try, hoping the technology might've improved. I was absolutely blown away by the improvement in both the devices and the quality of some of the juices available. It seems vaping has finally become what I hoped it would be--something that delivers all the satisfaction of a cigarette with none of the mess and fewer health risks. I didn't have any particular desire to quit smoking, but now find I'm mostly vaping purely out of preference, even though I smoked two packs a day for over fifteen years.

Anyway, I thought this looked like a good community to join to find tips on possibly making vaping even better. I'm using Suorin's pod systems (the Drop and Air) and absolutely love the way they hit along with how simple they are to use. I've discovered I still don't care for 'typical' juices, but absolutely love the nic salt juice that was recommended to me (Nkd 100 brand) and also some of the naturally extracted tobacco juices I've bought online. I would like to know if there are any devices out there that hit like the Suorins but have a longer battery life, and also if anyone has the slightest clue how to remove juice from a pod. It won't pour out for some reason and the pods are much too expensive to throw away just because I tried a new juice and didn't care for it. Thanks and happy to be here!

Welcome to ecf.

I have not tried any of the new pods out, but from what I read the majority of them are not refillable. They want you to keep buying those cartridges(or whatever they call them) exclusively from them.

They are some really tiny mods that are available on the market that do allow you to use whatever tank fits and you can refill those.

:)

Some are like that (I know Juul is), but the Suorins are designed to be filled with whatever liquid you want and then refilled repeatedly. It's basically a tank with a built-in atomizer.

Welcome to the forum! I don’t know anything about pod vapes but there is a subforum dedicated to pod vaping. Someone there should be able to help you out! Glad you’re vaping instead of smoking!!
Okay, I'll go ask over there. I've searched all over for instructions and haven't been able to find any, but I can't be the first person to want to remove fluid from one of these pods. Thanks!

Dandelion Puffball, Your post could have been written by me.

Firstly, welcome!

For the Drop, if pouring it out doesn't work. I would probably try blowing gently into one port while keeping the other port lower over a bowl. With eye glasses on!!! :D Room temp E- juice burns my lips, it can't be a nice thing, to get an eyeful while peeking at it to see if it is coming out.

I like Letitia's idea far better!

If the pod is toasted, it won't be worth salvaging the remaining e-juice, as it will taste as burnt as the pod.

I thought I'd update this that I've finally mastered removing juice from the Suorin Drop pods. A long, larger gauge needle (preferably blunt from a vape shop) and syringe works. The thicker juices take pumping the plunger in and out to draw it up, and a bit of patience, but it eventually gets it out. I then vaped a bit of unflavored juice through the pods, and now the pods my mother defiled with her fruity sugar vape juices are good as new, lol.
