Hello there guys,

i started vaping in 2015 with little to no success and abandoned it within a couple of months.
I just started again, with a whole new setup, and i'm now loving it. My smoking went down from 20-25 cigs a day to barely 5 in literally just a few days!

Glad to join this community.
See you around!

Welcome Oddvar

You might want to try a handy-dandy signature banner...(you can just click on mine)…

I really hardly even notice it...but it DOES help me put things "into prospective" when I'm considering vape purchases...

..
Wow that is handy, especially for the "money saved" part!
I'll most certainly put it on as soon as i actually smoke my last cigarette. They are going down fast :p
Thanks!

Welcome to the friendly bunch :)

Your story is not that unusual but very glad you've almost cut out the death sticks. When you stop them completely you need to make sure that you nic strength is sufficient so 18-25 mg/ml for a 25/30 a day smoker. The sooner you can stop the better so good luck with the last hurdle :)

His tank would be better with 12-6mg honestly.

Welcome. I also went from almost a pack a day down to 5 with the help of vaping. I finally quit the cigs completely and just vap now (actually, I did cheat and have 2 cigs the other day... tasted nasty... marlboro yuck) Been 2 weeks and doing great... don't miss the cigs at all. You can quit, and will most likely slip like I did... no big deal, and you will save lots of money. I started with 18mg nicotine and now happy with 12mg. Please tell us what type and strength juice you are using.

Thanks, i hope to be able to throw them away completely in the next months. With time, i also plan on giving up nicotine as well.

Happy for your continued success.

To what do you attribute your recent success? More motivated this time around? Better gear?

Inquiring minds want to know.
Definetly both. Four years have passed since the last attempt, i'm now 29, and i don't like when i go out with friends on hikes and whatnot, they are ahead of me while i'm thinking "damn you guys, slow the **** down".
And you start thinking "if i'm in this condition now, what will it be in another 5 years? Or 10? Or 20? Will i even live another 20 years?". We already have so much stuff that can kill us, i don't want another one, especially not by choice.
But yeah, the last gear wasn't "good enough for me", and i was also less informed than i am know (i was even vaping that Eleaf GS-tank with my lungs while it's a mouth-to-lung tank).
The liquids were another big problem. I tried of bunch of cheap liquids and they sucked (again, i didn't have enough knowledge).
Now i have more power in my mod, more quality in my atom, and vaping a delicious whiskey and coffee liquid, and planning to start making them myself.

So yes, definetly both! :p
