I have been vaping on an EGO battery with a kanger pro tank for the last few years.
Thought it'd be time to step it up a notch.

I got a small little nugget Artery with the 49er tank it came with, its super cute and small, Im happy with it. Using 53Ω, the replaceable head (coil) kanthal, in watt/power mode. So far the puffs are kinda puny compared to my old ego/kanger tank

Also an Authentic Vaporesso Target Pro 75W TC VW APV Box Mod Kit (Black)
Target Pro 75W TC/VW, Black / SKU: 4985103 (fasttech) and the tank it came with. I haven't completely put it together yet...

I'm interested in getting a bigger cloud with the tank it comes with (the replaceable head coils) and how best to do it?
The target tank supports Ni200, SS, and Titanium. What is the difference?

My ego/kanger e-cigg? I have enjoyed the ego-twist, : eGo Twist V2
Ive been using: Vision Spinner 3S
and the tank I have preferred the mini: Mini Protank-II

Set on using 1.8 ohm resistance coils and the ones at fast tech are not that great. I have ordered from kanger and the local store uses real cotton twine, buy from them. I don't know how to make them and for $2 a pop, I'd rather buy. The coils, I feel last a long time, I usually vape them until they go out. I would have to estimate, anywhere from a month or two maybe three (not vaping lots)?
The tank itself has lasted up to a year, but definitely for 6 months or longer. Rinse it out when I change the coil.

Agree with you on the Mini. Best flavor and production of the PT line. But the lowly T3s beat it on flavor and stability with that tall column and fluid volume. Appreciate your answer. You're a low volume vaper so your coils will last as economical. Most of the gear today is geared towards clouds and not vapor. The vertical coils are very airy and diffuse the juice (expand it with heat) dimming the nuances.

Considering how long your coils last and that most love a simple dense vape at 19W, I would have transitioned you to something like a Kayfun, rather than the current slew of 3rd gen tanks. Takes sec's to make a coil for one and done right would last you forever with your vape. You're also not susceptible to all the changes and discontinued products that will just accelerate now.

In general POE work up slowly to higher power. More vapor, more flavor. Decrease airflow and power slightly for more density. For more accurate flavor I prefer horizontals rather than verticals. Try not to go overboard trying every tank and coil. God knows we all do it when we hit a new thing. Physically try to sample gear before you buy. It'll be increasingly hard as things go forward now. Nudge me if I can be of help.

best of luck. :)

p.s. See my thread on the Protank and it's evolution to precision coils. If you ever want to try to make a simple coil, lmk.

Starting over with the new mod...
I primed the .8Ω SS, which is the other coil that it came with and let it soak. The ohms went up to.9, then .99, now at 1.3. Is that ok? i thought it would stay at a certain ohm?

Started with the watt/power mode. I got a good vape on power at 25 watts...

I see the option for ssTemp, But when in temp mode, what do I set the voltage to?

I had a slew of PT2s. They were sufficient in many ways, but I wanted to grow. I got a Kayfun and played with building/using it while my PT2s remained for primary use. Finally I included it in my rotation and found myself gravitating towards it. I started buying more.

I guess now, it is a matter of which Kayfun to get. I have had them all, but the KFL+ is heavy in my rotation.

I find that I prefer to use only 1-3 different toppers because I can rebuild and re-wick them the fastest. I have tried many, many others, but the KFL+ is a good middle of the road one for me.

Now the Subtank Mini is a little more cloudy, and juice sucking, but has good taste, too.

Hope helps
