Hey guys,

Been lurking the forums for a while now and decided it's time to join. Currently serving my 5 post probation.

I quit smoking in June 2014, and this has now grown into a hobby.

I have 4 devices:
BAP dna 40
Vaporshark rDNA 40 (currently my replacement getting shipped back)
Vaporshark dna 30 (served as my backup while it's big brother got fixed up)
Vaporflask v2 dna 40 (receiving this in 2 days)

Hope I can contribute to the community :)

Thanks UncleMike :)

I had a couple of mods, and then I got a DNA 40 device, and you see what's happened. Once you get builds down right w/ nickel (or get a TSC coil like the OCC), it's truly an amazing vape. They aren't for cloud chasers, I like a mix of both flavour and clouds, and the DNA 40 gives me exactly that.

I hope I can share my knowledge with others and learn from others as well, as they are definitely a different breed of device with Temp Control.

You'll be out in no time. The posts will add up quicker than you think.

you can add by visiting the threads around the board and letting us know what you think.

AND

If you have questions about gear, setups, builds, DIY, honest reviews, "what should I buy?", etc... Come to these boards. There's an advanced search option at the top of you screen that will help you find ANYTHING vape related.

Tell us about yourself:

Was it easy to quit the ciga-reals?
Did your equipment escalate or do you still use the piece you started with?

etc...

We're interested. Go out and explore and see what ECF has to offer. There is much.

See you on the threads.

Awesome avatar btw Susan lol.

Thank you! That's Ming, one of my Bengals. Ming is a brown spotted tabby bengal. His brother Tai, is a brown marbled tabby bengal.

Al the kudos go to fellow member The Ocelot who grabbed my original Avitar and then one day surprised my with this in a PM.

science_cat.jpg

She asked me what my favorite APV was. I responded "My Reo wooden box mod". I sent her pics and she went on a "flurry" of designing many different Avitars for me to choose from (she's VERY TALENTED). What you see is what we finally decided on.

My cat has the same stripes just hes much...MUCH fatter...

No chance of either one of my Bengals getting fat!:)

Mine got out one day and was seperated from us for 6 months, we had him since he was a kitten. Since then the vet says he got traumatized and developed an eating disorder, lmao. Hes fat and bulimic, he eats massive amounts of food and half the time pukes it back up  He's 10 now but his ordeal from 7 years ago apparently traumatized him still to this day

Edit: and Kudos to the Ocelot, ironically I have an old friend in NC who owns an Ocelot as a pet lol.

Yeah I was kidding, my posts will add up I'm sure of that :) as there are a lot of interesting discussions I want to get in on. :)

was your rDNA return a screen problem? I had one that had to be returned too, but everyone seems to think that the temperature sensing will be the future of vaping :) VaporShark seems to be pretty good about the return policy...

Part of it was a screen problem, part was the 510 connection would act up on me sometimes. But they were great, and are sending me a brand new upgraded large screen board. I had one of the original that worked great until a month ago started acting up. Only had screen problem with a nickel build when vaping outside (it was like -25). The temp of the board gets screwed up and it's a major cause of the screen issues.

As for me, I smoked for 15 years, the last year I had quit, and moved to cigars (Captain Black's), but 10 months of those were really starting to affect me. I had seen a few people around my work with e-cigs so I went and got starter kit and started vaping at 3mg (which I still am on today). 2 weeks past, knew I needed better gear. I evolved pretty quickly in the vape world. Got my first mod around end of July (Evic Supreme), and then in December, bought an rDNA 40, January BAP DNA 40, and now Vaporflask.

The evolution of tanks was Kanger T3S<Mega<Mini<Aspire Nautilus Mini<Aspire Atlantis<Kanger Subtank Mini. I have a few RDA's as well, but nothing beats a well build Subtank Mini with nickel. :) (for me anyways).
