Hello,

My name is Anna, i'm a new member of the forum.

I've been using a Blu E-cig since about January, and am looking into getting into the mods with the help of some friends who have been using mods for quite a while now. I'm hoping to learn more about the world of vaping and hoping to make some new e-friends. I already happen to have a couple of favorite liquids which are fruit stripe and a custom flavor a friend just had me try(yet to be named). If you guys happen to have any advice of what type of mods and or liquids to try, i would love it!

Thanks,
Anna

@DaveRocks, thanks! @Sugar_and_Spice, so far what I like the best is the box type with variable voltage and holds a better charge, weight doesn't bother me. The most important thing I am looking for is quality cause I am not looking at getting a new one every few months. My friend/co-worker has a custom made one, I forgot who made it but it was really nice even though it didn't have variable voltage or a long lasting battery. I'm trying to get my husbsand into vaping as well but he is really picky and not sure of what to get at all, I think he would be best with a cigar style one, that is fairly simple to use. He's also wanting to find a vape liquid that is close to the taste of a Marlboro or even a Camel.

This is what I have bought
New Itaste MVP Kit 2 x ICLEAR16 Dual Coil Clearomizers Free Fast Shipping | eBay

I always make sure it is shipping from the US and not China. These have vw/vv and they are a great device and the battery will last days.
As for a Marlboro or Camel tasting eliquid, I would suggest freedomsmokeusa.com or Backwoods Brew
Both are good.

:)

Hi! I'm new here too. I too would recommend the iTaste MVP for a box mod. As for your husband, there is a cigar style automatic battery that operates at a regulated 5 volts, which basically means it will perform well even when the battery charge has drained. https://www.vapor4life.com/vapor-zeus-ecigarette-starter-kits I actually would recommend this to experienced vapers as well...really great for leaving the house when I don't want to lug something bulky around. It is expensive but I have found no other automatic battery that works this well.

Hi and welcome to ECF. I have been using vision spinners for over three months now and love them. They are inexpensive and would be a good introduction for your husband to try out vaping while also having the variable voltage to fine tune the taste according to which topper you decide on.

I decided to upgrade to an MVP2 so I can try out the vv/vw functions. I know when the battery finally goes dead I can not replace it. But it will provide me with the time to research all the other devices and learn which toppers and RBAs I like before investing more money on a permanent box mod or Provari.

Sounds like you have several friends that can show you what they are using and maybe you can try some of their devices and see which ones you like. I do not have access to that so it is harder to know what is what just from the internet.

Keep posting and asking questions. Check out the APV forum and the rest. There is a lot of information to be had here. People are friendly and will help you find answers to your questions.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome and good information. My friend sold me his Vision Spinner which I like and my husband really likes. Hes just not to fond of the variable voltage(Cause he is not understanding of how the whole thing works yet) and we both learned that he is not allowed to have a plastic tank cause he likes to play with things and cracked the tank within two days of having it.
