Hello Everybody!

I'm new here and would like to say hi!

I live in Singapore, had been interested in trying out the e-cig for a few months and now trying to ship it in and get it pass our .... customs.

i'm very new to this and do not have any experience in vaping.

I would love it if somebody can advise me how i may get hold of this wonderful invention.

So PV's are illegal in Singapore? If so, the only way to get your PV is to just order it and hope it slips through customs. The Canadians seem to do it all the time.

thanks for the warm welcome!

yup! PVs are illegal in Singapore.

I tried emailing Eastmall but they do not ship to Singapore because doing so would get them into trouble.

I'd look through and find some suppliers who'd ship them here, but I hope they are not too expensive because that'd mean money thrown out the window if it really got confiscated! :(

what if you could get it in pieces? customs would be less likely to figure it out then. shipping plus fees would be considerably more then though.

that's a good idea! I wanted to do that through Eastmall but they told me they do not ship to Singapore.

Also I'd need a reliable website where they provide instructions on how to assemble them.

The refills are a problem too since I read about somebody who got their cartridges refill confiscated.

I see e-liquid being mentioned a lot here. Is e-liquid sort of a diy thingy whereby we put the liquid into the empty cartridges?

Scroll down to the very bottom of any page. I do mean the very bottom. There is a search box. Just put Singapore in it and hit enter, or click the search button.

How unfortunate to live where the laws are so strict. I recall the [link], though not what the penalties are. I assume the penalties on smuggling are severe.

yeah who can forget the infamous ban?

hmmm haven't heard of any cases about chewing gum. I did try to sumggle them through malaysia before, got caught and got the gums confiscated. The customs took down our names and particulars and let us leave that's all. They aren't that tough on chewing gum compared to cigs though.

i've seen news reports on cigarette smuggling and ppl were fined heavily or jailed but that's massive smuggling like cartons or even truckloads. it can't be helped since there was a massive increase in cigarette prices, i remember it used to cost just S$5 (US$3.40) per pack 15 yrs ago but now it's about S$11 (US$7.40) per pack. Bulk of it are duties and taxes since our neighboring countries like malaysia and thailand are still selling cigarettes at the price we were selling 15 yrs ago! their claim on the massive price hike? - the high price will deter ppl from smoking.

they claim that the ban on e-cig is because they do not want ppl who are not hooked on cigs to become interested in cigarettes and eventually progress to smoking after trying out the e-cig, i think this a a total crap coming out from the bull's ..... my guess is as good as anybody else's - they are just worried about the cigarettes revenue upon implementation of the e-cig!

if they are really concerned about smoker's health, they'd promote quit smoking by making quit smoking aids more readily available but instead what i see is more cigarette brands coming up and price hike. Nicotine gum not readily available and e-cigs illegal.

Sorry to rant about my .... country, i just couldn't help it

I was thinking if any Singapore NTU student which can actually Create the Electronic
vaporizer and if the Government will actually say that this is Make in Singapore. so is safe. LOL but the Liquid will be the part which the puzzle, with nicotine or without is a question again.

Government around the world are just really worry that if the E-Cig sell Popular in retails and that will really affect the
Sales of tobacco.
