Hi guys i am new to this forum , like most of you i need to quit smoking ( 35 years of addiction ) but i have bad luck with choosing the brands .
Now i got the trio 51 from my cigarrett store and i don't like it .
First thing is charger , it has only green light , no red so i have no clue when batteries are full , you plug in empty battery and still green light is on .
I was charging about 7 hrs and i could use for maybe 15 minutes after all
The filters are leaking , batteries last maybe 1 hr , usb charger has red light for ever never changes to green ( i would think that would happen when fully charged ).
I spent over 100 $ and i am not happy with this one .
I have some electric devises but mostly is red light for empty and green for full charged , so i have a question , is any one familiar with brand 51 , should charger have green and red light , maybe mine is broken , i feel like to get it back to the store and get my money back .
I would like something affordable ( me and my husband ) and something that is not leaking and batteries last for a at least few hrs.
Thanks if you can help :)

I have only tried two ecigs, so there will be others who are better informed, but I LOVE my KR808D-1. I got it here: Kr808d-1 starter kit: kr808d-1 cartomizers, kr808d battery and more! Kr808d-1 kit from LiteCigUSA! The shipping was very fast and I've had no problems with it. The prefilled cartomizers that came with it taste kind of like Camel Pinks to me (which I really liked). MistressNomad has a great video series here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-videos-newbies-particular-broke-newbies.html

Best of luck to you!!

Hi Eva,
Welcome aboard from a new vaper. If you read some of the stickies on the first page, you will find that many of the ones in stores, on tv, and in the malls are not of very good quality and are overpriced. I am not sure about your brand and can't advise you except to try to return it to the store. Hopefully, store owners will start to stop accepting poor quality ecigs for their stores but it seems this is what distributors to convenience stores and the like are bringing them. I bought some awful $10 disposable from 7/11 that had to be worse than eating ashes. The most recommended for new users are the 510 models whether the original Joye brand or other brands such as Riva. I bought a riva light kit ( not sure what was lite about it) which included parts for 2 ecigs, empty cartridges, and chargers for $32 from Liberty Flights. They offer a 20%discount, just click the 20% on the top of their page. I chose this one because the riva 510 has a much larger battery that lasts me around 7 hours. The cartridges do leak if overfilled and don't hold much. There are larger cartridges that one can buy to hold more and they also have cartomizers that will fit. I am not sure but I think the ego tanks will also work with these, but defer to others or email/call Abe and Ty at Liberty Flights. Don't give up if this first one didn't work for you. Also, I believe there is a vapefest coming up in LV if you can attend. It will give you the opportunity to try other models and meet vapers who can share their advice with you.
