Hello everyone,

I am a new Vaper that lives in Greenfield/Indianapolis, Indiana. I have been wanting to quit smoking for awhile, but I loved to smoke and was really hoping to find a better alternative. When I found out about electronic cigarettes I was intrigued and ended up taking the plunge about a week ago. I have several KR808 batteries and love them. I find the automatics are much more enjoyable, on average than the manuals. I do prefer manuals when the cartridge I am using does not produce much vapor.

My favorite menthol flavor so far has been the standard menthol blend from V4L. I ordered both of their menthol samplers and was not impressed with the majority of the flavors. I am waiting for my second V4L order to come in so that I can try some more flavors and see what I would enjoy.

I've been reading a lot of posts in this forum and it has helped give me good information to get me started, which I really appreciate.

What I would love is if I could find a few other people who use electronic cigarettes in my general area, or I guess Indiana in general. I dont know, would be kind of neat. I havent seen anyone else using these yet other than my brother in law. I have noticed that at the Gas America gas stations in the area they seem to be selling electronic cigarettes as well now.

You could see if there is a social group for your area (but you can't post elsewheret han new members until after 5 posts or replies and about an hours wait)

Thank your for the advice. I do see that there is a Hoosiers Social Forum, which really helps out. That about fits what I was looking for. I thought it would be nice to see what kind of community there is for vaping in Indiana.

as usual, dormouse is spot on The social groups are a great way to meet people in your area. Another way to meet vapers that may be from your area is in ECF Live Chat. Even if you don't find someone local you'll find a bunch of fairly good natured folks with plenty of advice on flavors and gear.

Indy Vapor Shop is just north of the speedway on 34th. Hoosier Ecig Supply is in Greensburg, but I don't think he has a brick and morter. Both are WAY better than mall shops.
Although new, hoosierecig has gotten much props here at ecf for his low prices, and quality gear. I bought a eGo 1100 mAh kit from him that lasts 20+ hours on a charge (actually I have never run it low because I charge each battery every other night). His dual coils sell very fast.
Indy Vapor just moved to a new store. He can give you the lowdown on local scene. He is said to be a very nice guy, and has quality stuff at reasonable prices.

Being from Terre Haute, I am alone in my vaping. The only other vapors around here are gas station disposables. A kiosk in the local mall will sell you a $20 kit for $130.

Indianapolis - maybe if you find a high-profile smoking Indianapolis 500 racer and turn him on to ecigs you could start a statewide trend.
