Mom is doing pretty good considering all she's gone through. Chemo has been positive, her hair is returning, but she is having some problems walking, using a cane now and limiting her activity.
Also when the tsunami struck and after I had heard about it on the morning news, took me about 3 hours before my calls would go through. Wasn't that worried as she lives south of Osaka and surge warnings for her area was only 1.5 meters (she lives practically right on the water's edge). Just wanted to make sure though. Felt no tremors at all in her area so thats good as she was smack dab in the middle of it when the big one struck back in the 90's.

I'm happy your Mom is doing well and that she was far away from the quake and tsunami.
