I have been lurking here for about three weeks now and have gained a wealth of knowledge. I decided it was time to join. I only have experience with the KR808's, three different kits. I have been vaping for one month now. I only started vaping to see if it could get me through the work day, and it has done that. I have found that I enjoy it more than analogs most of the time except for first thing in the am., after meals and one at the end of the day. I have gone from smoking twentyfive to thirty to about seven a day. When I first started I was using Chinese PG only liquid, which made my throat sore, but have since changed to at least 80 PG /20 VG (Domestic) mix and have not had that problem since.

I began the same way as you have DRGN and discovered that if I vaped a higher nic juice first thing in the morning, just to get the motor running, I was able to cut out that first cig.... then after a little while cut out the last thing at night smoke too! Process took about 10 days for me and if I vaped a lot in the evening the desire to have that last smoke before bed disappeared. I smoked for 20 years and within 2 weeks of vaping had stopped tobacco completely and haven't had one in 6 months now. I didn't realize how bad I felt until now and the difference is amazing! Hope you can keep it up and kick the analogs for good.

I just quit analogs myself. I almost gave up though.
I started with a Halo G6 and Halo menthol mixes, but soon found out I just didn't like there liquids TH.

I bumped up to the E-Power 14650 and got some e-liquid from Todd over at VAPERITE. I am now analog free. Had a couple cravings so I took a few puffs off an analog after I'd quit for a couple days...., taste like a dam ashtray!

Best of luck!

Thanks for the encouragement, I have tried uping the nictone for the first thing in the morning, but it seemed to make things worse. Once or twice in the last month I have skipped an analog after a meal or the last one at night but not often. That is amazing that you completely switched over after only ten days. I guess everyone has a different pace with this.

LoL. Yeah, I was a Marlboro Menthol 72 (green pack) smoker and to be honest..., I loved my menthols.
I tried Trupure after seeing the reviews, but found I liked Cool Must better. There both too harsh on my throat though.

I do construction and the charging of the 808d-1 batteries was just more trouble than I had time for.
My e-power battery will last all day and the Mega cartomizer last all day. Size wise is more like a cigar.

I got some Natural cinnamon in 18mg from todd and one of his menthol tobaccos. If you want good tobacco flavor with your menthol, Highly recommend them.

I completely undestand, I really like the Kools as well. The battery charging thing is not a big deal to me so far, but I am in IT and always have a usb port handy for charging. I do go through three batteries a day though. Thanks for the tip on the eliquid I will check that out. I have been using 18mg for my all day and 24 mg in the evening. I am curious as too what the cinnamon has to do with menthol. Is it mixed in or straight cinnamon flavor?

The pace is definitely different for everyone, guess I realized that I had fallen out of love with smoking and vaping gave me the nic my body craved and I could experiment with new flavors etc. I was a menthol smoker, and after trying every menthol tobacco juice I could get, also tried the Halo's, I stumbled upon citrus menthol flavors and that is pretty much all I vape now. Still gives me the coolness and the citrus gives me a flavor to enjoy. Lemon Ice by Mister E-Liquid is my go to and I've managed to get down to 6mg nic, except when I have a few beers when I sometimes need to break out the 12 :)

Stick at it, I too got the dry throat at first, but drinking plenty and experimenting with PG/VG will help you find your sweet spot. Rather than buying loads of juice with different PG/VG levels I got a bottle of 100% of each in a flavor that I liked and mixed a few separate batches to get a couple of different blends and found where I needed to be. There is a learning curve for sure but the right juice and set up, when you find it, makes the world of difference.... can't vape my 'starter' stuff at all now :)

Good stuff LFC, I will look into the mixing. I am counting nine different bottles here all various strengths, flavors, and ratios. I have been mixing some of them directly into my cartomizers, with varied results. The lemon/menthol sounds good as lemon is a good flavor for me, though it might taste too much like desert. That would make me crave an analog. I tried a chocolate mint liquid once and it tasted to much like a real chocolate mint type desert. I had a smoke after vaping it. I trashed that sample bottle. I have been heavy on drinking water, I always have water with me now.
