I just wanted to say hello to everybody here at the ECF.
My wife and me just got a couple of 510s in the mail the other day and we can't stop vaping. We just love everything about them and the e-cig life style. This forum is just amazing at all the info you can find here. We have learned some much from the people here it crazy. I look forward to being a part of this amazing community.

Can you tell us what it is you like about the 510? I'm assuming this was your 1st e-cig so you have nothing to compare to? I'm curious as a newbie, what your initial reaction is to the 510 in particular, but also to vaping in general (what in particular you like about it).

Well actually I did get to try an 801 in the mall last week. Comparing the two i would have to say the 510 has a better throat hit than the 801. Me personally i like the size better also, it feels better in my hands. I really can't compare anything else like the batteries because it my only experience, but ours do last long enough for us. My initial reaction was pretty much WOW! for both the 510 and the vaping experience. When I tried it in the mall it just blew me away with the flavor you could get from vaping. The guy let me try 4 flavors that i thought were pretty good. Even the online purchasing experience was great. There's so many aspects of vaping it hard to pin point specifics.

There's been a few posts lately - one dredged up from a while ago that talks about the 'learning curve' for the 510. Did you or your wife experience any problem pushing the button and then inhaling??

Are we 'vets' forgetting something about how hard it might be to vape with the 510?

Actually we didn't have any problems vaping with the 510. Both my wife and myself picked it up within the first few minutes of trying it out. My wife said the hardest thing for her was figuring out a comfortable way to hold it.
