Cool. I never thought about washing them. I go between 5 different flavors and between using the same carts and the samme attys, I tend to get some pretty nasty flavors! Any sugg on cleaning the stink out of an atty? I have 4 and would like to clean them and seperate them for similar flavors. ie: coffees for 1 atty, cherry, redbull and coke for another, whiskey for another, etc.

I use a new cart & atty every day or two. When Sunday comes, pull the stuffing out of the used carts, rinse them out real good, wash the plastic tips and soak the attys in hot water for an hour or so. Rinse everything out real good, blow out the attys and set everything on a paper towel to dry. Later on, re-stuff the carts and I'm ready for another week. I rotate between 6 attys, have only had one die in 6 months. I never use anything to clean them other than HOT HOT HOT water, blow them out, let em dry, prime with a couple drops on the coil & good to go.

After 9 days of vaping and a few washes, I've just replaced the filling in my carts with fluval (for the first time, just to see how it turned out really). Pretty easy to do.

Definitely try the straw mod that Kent C kindly provided a link to...better wicking and you can get more juice in there when filling them.

I notice you are a fellow Brit, so if you want to get some replacement filling, this is what you should be looking for...

I use Galen's 151 vodka - pure grain, charcoal filtered clear - $12/fifth. That will get any bad taste or flavors out of the atty - sometimes just drop a few drops in and shake it - hold it cart side down with finger over both ends, then blow it out, dry. Same with carts - soak and squeeze, smell, soak, squeeze, etc. dry. The 151 drys quickly. The idea here is to use something for human consumption.

If you do menthol - that cart will be your 'menthol cart and filler' :)
