Hi I'm the new kid here. Started vaping 2 months ago after smoking for 40+ years. My daughter started vaping when she was pregnat with our first Grandchild and that got me thinking and asking alot of questions. I tried her's and thought this might work. I started with the noobie starter kit and didn't have much success or satisfation so put it aside for a few weeks. Then picked it up again and with some renewed dedication and some good advice and equipment from the local vape shop, it's been no looking back. I can smell and taste again! I feel much better especially in the morning not hacking up a lung. I don't stink! And my bank account is liking it very much at east until I get the urge for bigger and better.

My advice to people just starting out is stay away from the blister pack equipment. Get a decent battery, a tank that you can change the coils and find a local shop or a good forum like ECF to ask your questions. The cravings do rear their ugly stinky head ever now and again but stick with it and don't let them win you back. My tough time is that first cig in the morning. Other then that I'm very satisfied vaping.

Thanks everyone. After the blister pack I moved up to a Spinner 2 and ViVi Nova tank. BIG difference! My other PV is a VV that I actually found on the road one day. Someone must of put it on their car and drove off. It has 3 volt settings, low volt shut off and runs on 2 stacked 16340 750mah bats. Just waiting for my SVD and Vamo 5 to arrive from FastTech. Plan on running them with ViVi Nova tanks for now but will start the search for other options. I like to keep it simple (KISS principal).

And Rat2chat2 I hug my daughter and love the granddaughter every chance I get! They are both very special to me.

Another long timer kicks the butts! :) I truly enjoy these announcements.

This is what it's all about my friend. I can't imagine hugging my grandkids smelling like I used to.

I did the same, I got a volcano kit back 6 years, always caped but couldnt actually quit smoking. My buddy took me to a shop, got me I to rebuilds, I cut analogs slowly back and as of a month ago I Havnt had a cig. I am so excited to finally be an ex smoker.

After a few years of intermittently using a 510 and smoking, I upgraded to an eGo style yesterday. It happened to come in a blister pack, but it sure beats the 510! I definitely will be upgrading when finances allow (buying for two; couldn't afford to get too fancy just yet...), although I'm much happier with the new set-up.

WOW 4 years! So you must have seen the whole evolution of the e cig/vaping.
I to can't stand the smell anymore. The GF is still smokiing and my next goal is get her onto vaping. She'll go kicking and screaming but I think I can win her over after I throw away all the ashtrys and tell she can't smoke in my truck anymore.

Great job! I have been off of analogs for about 4 years thanks to the ecig. I never have a craving for an analog anymore, and cant stand the smell of them.
