Hello all. New to being registered but not new to ECF at all. I have been lurking for a few years and figured it was finally time to get involved. Feel like i know many of the established members already. Ever since i started building coils and dripping at high wattages I have been coming here almost daily so i figured it was time to become a member.

So either way hello and see you all out there. :vapor:

Welcome.

So what fancy gizmos do you use! :)

I got a vamo3, vamo5s, sigelei zmax3, 3 protank2's; 11 miniprotanks; a chiyou with a kick in 18650 mode, 3 usb vv minipassthroughs;

just got 2 hypertanks, but am surprised and disappointed that I can't work em on miniprotank bases like I do the protanks;
And just got an igo-w3 today which I'm running at 3.1-3.6 ohms at 8-10 watts on vamo.

I cant seem to make a reply longer than a sentence or two, it keeps giving me the error "An error has occurred Criticool Hit! You are not allowed to post links."

Even though i have posted no links :(

you know how annoying spell checkers guess what you are typing and change your spelling for you ?

well if you type something that it thinks is a link, the *smart* editor changes it to a link.

after you get up to 15 posts i think the problem will disappear because then you should be able to post links.

I have had a ton of mods over the last couple years. Seems like the number one start path for many people is the MVP. Which of course i started on with a pro tank 2, then the aero tank V2. But after one week of that i knew I was hooked (perhaps not the best phrasing). So i immediately bought a trainer Dripper (IGO W) and a couple of different gauges of kanthal off temco. Drilled out the holes on the IGO so i could take long draws and started coil building. At that point i was using a Sigelei 20watt. Which works quite nicely with a single micro coil (7 - 9 wraps of 28g). But i quickly grew out of that and went with a Sigelei 30 watt so i could do higher gauges of dual coils.

Now i vape on a Sigelei 100 watt box mod using dual 24 gauge macro coils (@ 45 watts) down around .5 ohms. Building atop a Zenith V2. I have a plume veil on the way im looking forward to as well.

If i am going to be out somewhere i can't really drip (which surprisingly isn't too many places) ill throw my AerotankV2 on top of the Sigelei 20 watt and toss in some of those Panasonic 3400mah 18650s. I know they are low amp but at 12 - 14 watts (about all the kanger aero V2 can handle) it lasts FOREVER and doesn't even come close to the 6amp continuous of the pannys.

Speaking of batteries i have a half dozen EFEST IMR 18650 2500mah 35amp batteries (which i know are just rebranded LGs) But the base LGs / EFESTs have great reputation, are safe batteries and are second only to sony VCT5s (which are never in stock....... anywhere..... ever...)

I have never really been a fan of mechanical mods (clones or authentics). I like the ability to adjust my desired wattage to achieve the temp and density of the vape I want. I think mechanical mods are going to be a dieing breed. They came about because all the APVs were around 11 - 15 watts max. But then they started to creep up 20 watts... 30 watts... 50 watts... Now 100 and 150 watts and the first yihi chips that can do 200 watts are just around the corner. Which far exceeds our batteries capabilities. So short of being a niche item and or collectors item in the future i just cant see mechs hanging on for too many more years.

Recently i have gotten into making my own e-juice. And that has just been one hell of a delicious if not expensive journey because not every creation is a winner and it can suck having to dump a batch gone wrong.

So all in all i think that covers my vape history and current status...
Faintly in the distance you can hear my bank account whimpering.
