Just joined the forum, I'm a jeweler & engineer, planning to make a mod in sterling silver for a friends birthday present, as I'm not a vaper I would appreciate advice on what to make, as it needs to be a supprise.
The birthday girl is using a standard basic pen type ecigarette that charges through USB .... Please forgive my ignorance as I said I'm a not a vaper or a smoker :0)

See if you can copy something along the lines of a Nemesis mini. Perhaps without the Gothic logo!

The finished article would need to take a certain size of battery and the design would need to include making top and bottom caps, or use those from an existing mod on the market. The easy way might be to buy a mod and build + engrave/decorate the tube section.

but, I'm not a mod maker....

than you so much for the feedback, it is very much appreciated. As I'm not a vaper I really dont have a clue what features are desirable, I have looked at the nemesis mini as suggested, it looks like a good place to start, I would probably try and flush mount a button on the bottom, to avoid having too many threaded / mechanical parts. I notice most of the tubular mods seem to be clean I was thinking of adding some detail, and making mine more 3 dimensional possibly adding some engraving also. Or would that be considered too much, and straying from the clean lines of what the tubular design is about, don't want to put a load of hours into making one for her to put it in a draw unused as its too much.
