I have officially quit cigarettes. I started out with an i-go pen type ecig. I then moved up to an itaste mvp v2 with 3.1 ohm.It has worked well enough to help me kick cigs. Now I find myself pretty bored with this set up. I want to blow out super clouds. I intend to buy a good sub ohm set up very soon.My budget is around $125. Any suggestions would be greatle appreciated.

Well, I own a iStick 30w and an innokin isub tank 0.5 ohm. Great vapor production at 20w. And i am expecting an innokin CoolFire IV (goes up to 40 W) with the isub G. Love these tanks because they are easy to use. I also own a Kangertech Genitank with 1.5 ohms. I use this one mainly for higher nicotine intake. Keep my subohming at 3mg nic and the genitank for 12mg.

If you are looking for a good deal, you can use this link to get a $10 of $35 or more purchase at vapordna: VaporDNA.com - Friend Offer

You could get a really good setup and keep it in budget.

Welcome to ECF! :) Do you have a vape shop around you where you can test the equip? Some shops will set out their premium juices in sub tanks for testers. There are a lot of sub ohm tanks to choose from and everyone here has their personal fave. I don't use them myself, but I have tried a few and seem to like the Delta2. It has an optional RBA head you can buy separately to learn hoe to build coils with. (Make sure you check out the info here on battery safety and coil building first. You can actually hurt yourself pretty badly if you screw it up.) Find a tank you like and look at the specs on it. You will eed to know it's wattage requirements before you pick a mod. (Or you can work that in reverse. Pick a mod and find a tank that works within its abilities.) The iStick seems to be popular for a starter, as is the new KBox from Kanger. A 50W device or higher will give you room to grow if you get into more advanced building. Most of the subtanks are between $25 and $50 depending on where you buy them. The 50W mods are usually somewhere between $40 and $75 I think, so that should fit into your budget. Do some window shopping and find something you like, then ask questions here about the combination you like.

Thanks for the fast responses. I live in the middle of nowhere. There is a vape shop about 50 miles away. I have been ordering juice from Mt. Baker. Its really the only type I have tried. Its 24 mg 50/50 vg/pg. I bought a huge bottle of it. Not sure the ml but its about the size of a shampoo bottle. Will I be able to use this juice with a high watt sub ohm setup?

It's a little thin for my taste. I don't get along well with PG, but that ratio will work. The nic level is SUPER high for subohming though. A single puff off a subohm rig is like 5 or even 10 puffs off an ego setup. You are going to get a huge nic rush off that I would imagine. Some folks go sub as high as 12mg, but I can't go over 3 without hurting myself and I smoked 2 PAD for 26 years. I can still get a nic buzz of 3mg in a drip tank if I chain vape it. It's a trial and error thing wit nic level though. You have to find what works for you. I would get small bottles of different strenths. Like 18/12/6. You can mix them and adjust the nic strength (i.e. mix half and half 12/18 for 15, half and half 12/6 for a 9, etc) until you find what works for you.

Snow Wolf 200W with TC and a good cloud dripper. The mod's a Franklin, and I'd suggest you start with a clone dripper or two to see which one you like before blowing another Franklin on an authentic. Another option would be a Segelei 150W (without temp control this time) and then a better dripper. My Snow Wolf got here yesterday afternoon, I'm still playing with it. So far, I'm scared to turn it up past 100W. I'm running it with a Lemo2 tank coiled at a mere .5 Ohm and rayon wicking; at 100W it'll blow you up like a balloon. I haven't even started trying the temp control. If you can find one you like, I'd suggest one with TC so you can switch modes and still use the mod when you're not in the mood for clouds, just want a nice vape.

Have you had a 100W dry hit yet? They're craptastic!!! Lol!
Nope. Nor am I likely to. I've got it turned down to 35W now, and I'm still either gonna have to cut the nic in my juice or turn it down some more. Honestly, at 35W and .5 coil in the Lemo, 50/50 juice, I'm blowing more cloud than ever before. So much so, innocent bystanders start to cough and it would be a hazard to navigation at sea. I didn't know, of course. I came over from mechs, and bought the SW to try a hi-power regulated mod and to try TC all in one box. I'm not really a super-cloud-chaser. I'm probably going to find the sweet spot somewhere between .8-1.2 and 30-35W. I was worried the DNA40 board might not be enough. I am beginning to think it just might be :)
