Hi! I have an atypical reason for vaping. Rather than trying to stop smoking, I'm actually using vaping to quit overeating of sweets. There's such a variety of delicious flavors that I am hoping that it was satisfy my cravings when I having the urge for cakes, donuts, pies, and candy. My first setup hasn't arrived yet but I ordered an iPV D2, TFV4, 5xTF-TI coils, 2xLG HG2 3000mah, and a dozen flavors from MechSauce, MtBaker, and Butter's ejuice. I'm very interested in learning to build my own coils after the first five pre-built coils run out, as I enjoy the technical side of the hobby, particularly the science and math in determining coil material, loops, diameter and wicking.

Hi Cabrill.. Vaping may help satisfy your cravings, but don't expect miracles. It did help me some, but didn't take away most of the cravings. Hopefully will be different for you.

Welcome to the forum, @Cabrill! My daughter is an actress and started vaping couple of years ago to help keep her weight down and to help her quit biting her fingernails, so your using vaping to help get off the sweets may just help.

Vaping has cut down my sweets intake about 70% without even trying, then again maybe I was using the sweets to cover my nasty cig breath but who knows.

All cotton coils have to be primed well with juice. If they are not primed well the cotton will burn. Once the cotton is burned the burned taste doesn't go away.

To prime the coil, drop 5-8 drops (sometimes less/more depending on the size of the coil head) of juice right inside the coil, another drop of juice in all the holes on the side of the coil. Put the coil in the base, screw the base back onto the tank and then fill the tank. Once you put the tank on the battery give it several unpowered primer puffs. This will make sure the wick is fully saturated.
