Hi, again. It's your friendly neighborhood noob with another noobie question. I am having trouble with a tank and mod box combo. I am using an eleaf iStick 30W box and a Kangertech Aerotank mini tank together. I have an eGo to 510 connector on the tank so that I can use it with this box. Now for my problem. Whenever I use this combo, the display on my box reads "no atomizer". I tried using a different eGo to 510 connector but get the same result. Now, when I put this tank on another box (iStick TC40W), I have no problems. Also, when I use other tanks (Subtank mini, delta ll) on the 30W box there are no problems. My question is, am I doing something wrong? Is there something wrong with the 30W box? I am using the connector (adaptor) that came with the box. Please help.

Thanks again as always,
EZGOER

Well,, if it works on the one, but not the other, then the problem is in the 30w mod, not the 40, the tank or the adapter. Sometimes the 510 center pin will get depressed and jammed into the bottom of the connector and won't make contact. Use a small (nonmetallic, tooth pick works) probe to lever it back up.

Thanks for the suggestions. I really don't think it is the adaptor, because I have tried two different adaptors and get the same result. I believe the problem is in the mod box. This is hard for me to explain, but at the top of the box where the tank and box come together, the little button on the top of the box. I guess this is where the battery and coil come together, seems to be loose. However, I don't understand why this does not affect my larger, sub-ohm tanks that I use on this box. Let me add, this box is 6-7 weeks old.
