I totally ignored the opening letter on my home page and forgot to introduce myself and say hello. I've been vaping since 2012 so I've seen this industry change a lot. But now I'm venturing into the rabbit hole of diy. Knowing me,it will not save me any money. The mad scientist will come out in me.lol but I'm going to need help, and I'm great full for forums like this and everyone's willingness to help. Sorry for my extremely poor grammar and punctuation. Thanks

Welcome @Mayhem987654

Yup, getting all the stuff for DIY can be expensive, but one day you'll mix up 200ml for a few $ and realize why it makes so much sense.

In Europe, as of May 2017, all we can buy will be 10ml at higher prices, so DIY is now for survival as much as money. Lots of great flavors will be gone too.

Hi and welcome. As said, getting set up for DIY can be a bit costly, but you will soon discover it is much cheaper in the long run. Ignoring the overhead costs-- I like to make mine in borosilicate lab glass, which is costly-- my cost is usually in the 5-10 cents American per milliliter. At that price you can chuck cloud all day and never think about it. Perhaps the best part is the ability to tailor the PG/VG mix and nic level to your personal taste. If you like complex flavor profiles-- chocolate covered waffles with maple syrup and sauerkraut, or whatever-- you can expect to spend some time making small batches until you get the recipe right. After that, though you can make it up a liter or half-liter at a time and not worry about it.

Thanks. I'm looking forward to it. I like simple flavors such as kiwi strawberry.I've been vaping that for a good two years. Just looking to save money. I'll tinker with other flavors as soon as I get set up. But I'm not sure I'll ever vape sauerkraut lol.

I'm not sure how long you have been vaping, but I remember the time there was a small fad of vaping flavors such as. Dill pickle, pizza.jalapeño,beer,whisky....etc. So weird.

Welcome and glad you joined. #1, suggest find a few recipes and order flavors only for those recipes.
