will they chop off your hand,if you get caught vaping?sorry for my noobness.
Lol. I believe you have a very different view of the UAE as compared to the reality of things here. True, breaking the law here carries with it more harsher penalties than what one would be accustomed to say in canada and the states. I'd like to say Dubai is a very liberal place, I'd even say it's even like vegas on steroids, there is no place like it in terms of architecture, wealth, and the sights/wonders they have created here.
There is a surreal mix of different cultures all in one place. From bikini clad ladies on the beach walking alongside the tradition covered ones.
You do have more cultural oriented cities in the country like sharjah. But honestly it's a beautiful place that is quite accepting of majority of things one would be accustomed to in the western world. Keep in mind I haven't visited the UAE for about 15 years and have lived majority of my life in canada. So coming here is definitely different in terms of culture. I'm still adjusting. My understanding is vaping in public and being caught with it may constitute the confiscation of the device and possibly some sort of fine. But this is just from reading different articles. But I haven't read anything or learned anything about what would actually happen through someone's experience here. That's why I'm
Asking if anyone in this forum is from here and knows the actual ins and outs.
I'm still flabbergasted by the country and it's amazing sights. It's changed so much since I've been here last.
All that being said, no I don't believe there is that type of harsh penalty as to warrant someone to lose a limb for simply vaping.
