Hello everyone

My name is jeni, I'm 34 years old and I've been smoking since I was 20 years old and I would like to quit permanently this year. I tried several times without success. Today I would like to try the electronic cigarette, because I have heard many people who had succeeded with this device.

Hello Jeni. Welcome to the forum.

My advice to you is to start trying things, until you nail your vape experience that you really enjoy. The desire to vape rather than smoke will take over, and the time will come when you can designate your cigarette quit day.

I recommend inexpensive batteries topped with with glass tanks that can be refilled, and some replacement coils. Try flavors. New vapers usually want a cigarette flavored eliquid. RY4 is a popular flavor for that, but you may find you like fruit flavors, mints, chocolate, brandy, clove and other flavors.

Experiment. Smoke cigarettes between vaping if you need to. You are the boss, but your intention to quit smoking will eventually take over when you begin to love vaping.

I wish you courage and success.

I agree with Bliss. There are certain attributes to each vape out there that people find they enjoy the most. That could be the draw, the throat hit, the flavor, the portability, the power, etc. Figure out what's most important to you while also remaining practical. Of course we'd love a device that has everything and does everything perfectly, but they simply don't exist. But if it'll keep you off the stinkies, that's what you have to focus on.

Also keep in mind that you'll no longer smell like cigs and you'll get your smell back. And when you smell a cig after you've been away from them for so long, they smell like a sweaty butthole smothered in an ashtray.

There are lots of knowledgeable people here to aid you on your way. Good luck, and welcome to Eckeff.

crigon_04.gifto ECF Jeniloulou. So glad that you are here. I will not repeat the other's wonderful advice but I will say that ECF is the reason I am still smoke-free after almost 9 years. Not to mention the wonderful people I have met here. Enjoy and make yourself at home and I look forward to reading about your success too!
