So after much tinkering I got my hells gate to fire all is well!

My question relates to upgrading the batteries. I want up the voltage of it and I'd like to know if I got four of the below batteries, would that increase the voltage raring ??

My current build is a 30 gauge kanthol, 4 wraps, dual coil and 0.4 ohms. I am thinking of trying to get it lower but I want to see if I can push more voltage through it.

The batteries in question are the 18350, 700mAh IMR

If I'm completely off the mark, I apologize as I'm trying to find my bearings on this.

so if I understood you right you wanted 2 18350's
2 stacked upping the voltage to 8volts @full charge
then parralled to have a 1400 mah capacity (hopefully doiung the math right)

i suggest not,
too dangerous.

if you want a better vape,
id look for 2 decent 18650 batteries with a 30amp limit
and above or something 25continuos

and having a better build probably,
not saying that youre build is wrong, but it can improve given that you have a good battery set to support it.

not really on the gauge ,since I am outside US,
but rule of thumb the thicker the kanthal wire, the lower the resistance,
so better use a lower resistance wire,

Definitely not recommended to stack batteries, particularly if you're sub-ohming. Yes, it will double the voltage, but those batteries cannot handle the amp draw that would create (it would already be pushing or beyond the rated limits of any 18350 battery at just 4 volts with that resistance).

Play with your build, try different wire gauges, but please abandon this idea. If you want to increase the voltage delivered to the coil, particularly with sub-ohm builds, the only safe way would be to use a regulated mod and then bump it up a little at a time to where you like it
