Hello, today we are going to take a look at the Dead Rabbit 3 rda J Edition sent to me by Hellvape. I will examine each of the features that distinguish this vaporizer in this Test. I hope that at the end of this reading you can understand this product, and therefore decide whether to invest in it or not. As always, my opinions are free and based on my personal experience.

Hellvape Dead Rabbit 3 rda J edition φ24mm is designed with Rabbit logo (front) and Joker logo (back) and adopts mirror polished finish to achieve an elegant appearance. It also features an exclusive Ag+ drip tip for purity and an extra 810 drip tip for customization.

The compact package in fire red color, reports on the front; the Hellvape logo, the evil Joker logo, the identifying writing "dead Rabbit 3 RDA J Edition", a "limited Edition" writing, an adhesive sticker containing the color indication of this sample, a nice image window of the product contained inside the package. On the back there are; the characteristics, parameters, packing list, logos & trademarks, scratch & check, an adhesive label with the batch number and the color indication of this sample. On the remaining parts of the package we find; the numeric code (21-07) associated with this product, the name of the vaporizer (Dead Rabbit 3 RDA J Edition), the slogan "Evolve your vaping genius".

Hellvape Dead Rabbit 3 RDA J Edition is the latest evolution in chronological order of the successful original project of the Dead Rabbit series.

Dead Rabbit 3 RDA J Edition is a vaporizer that maintains the basic features of the previous "3 RDA", so it also maintains the dead rabbit logo, which is now flanked by an attractive new graphic design dedicated to the famous Joker clown who is a character from American comics published by DC Comics.

Joker is one of the most famous supervillains in history as well as a psychopath and sociopath with a distorted and sadistic sense of humor. Moving on to the technical side, handling this vaporizer certainly conveys a sense of structural solidity and high-level constructive care.

► Hellvape Dead Rabbit 3 RDA J Edition; Exploded view:
Care of construction, fine couplings and perfect sealing of the o-rings are factors to which Hellvape has long accustomed us. This RDA is completely disassembled for thorough cleaning of the parts.

► Hellvape Dead Rabbit 3 RDA J Edition; Multiple AFC:
Dead Rabbit 3 RDA J Edition features two different adjustable airflows, one honeycomb and the other slotted to have different vaping experiences. The free-rotating top cap, allows in combination with the external jacket to select different air passages such as; 15 holes arranged on 3 rows selectable 3 at a time, alternatively it allows you to have 3 large slots that can be completely divided. I really like the rotation lock that allows you to easily screw/unscrew this RDA from the mods.

The steel base features many laser writings and houses either a full or perforated pin, both gold-plated and insulated.
With a diameter of 24mm Dead Rabbit 3 RDA J Edition is compatible with the vast majority of both normal and BF Mods on the market.

► Hellvape Dead Rabbit 3 RDA J Edition; Rebuildable Deck:
The Dual Coil Deck is designed and optimized to maximize flavor compared to previous versions of Dead Rabbit. According to Hellvape, the round structure of the posts of this third version allows for homogeneous and enveloping air circulation around the coil. In addition, the deck has two large o-rings for perfect leak tightness. At the base of the turrets there are two lateral holes for squonk, the liquid capacity of this RDA is estimated at about 4.5ml which is really a lot, in fact I use one of my samples with satisfaction as a dripper and before refilling with liquid a lot of time passes.

Cutting excess legs is made easier thanks to a favorable angle of the supports. Furthermore, the generously sized tank can hold up to 4.5ml of e-liquid. It is extremely simple to insert the two coils from above, once the valuable screws have been tightened, even cutting excess legs is elementary. Just remember to turn the Deck upside down to eliminate the parts of the coils that have been cut and that could remain inside the tank.

This vaporizer requires a lot of cotton because the depth of the tank is considerable (5mm). After inserting the cotton by placing it on the raised "cushions" of the deck, you need to wet it with e-liquid, reposition the chamber and reload with e-liquid from above, or do the squonk if you use the tank with the pierced pin in combination with a BF mod.

► Hellvape Dead Rabbit 3 RDA J Edition; Final conclusions:
Based on the third evolution of the 24mm dead rabbit, Hellvape has limited itself to proposing an extraordinary and new graphic design for a truly effective aesthetic restyling. The choice of colors at the moment includes only 3 variants where obviously the finishes stand out to the maximum, which are of an excellent level.

Starting from the top I liked; the 810 resin Drip Tip with Ag+ antimicrobial band and the free rotation of the Top-Cap with surface knurling for an optimal grip. The opposing honeycomb or grooved air intakes offer several combinations of flow regulation towards the coil, furthermore it is possible to angle the flow with respect to the center of the coil thanks to an additional rotation before the end-of-travel blocks.

Generally speaking, the Rabbit 3 RDA J Edition can be configured for a very wide DL type of vape but also for a rather narrow RDL with a relative rather strong "throat hit". The innovation compared to the V2 is all in the greater maximum air flow and in the shape of the Deck that uses round "poles" and a deep tank with a capacity of 4.5ml.

With the two supplied 0.37Ω Fused Clapton Coil Ni80 you get a final resistance of about 0.2Ω. With this configuration I tried different settings from 35 to 60W and without overheating. The coils are reactive even starting from the minimum power. At 50W I found my "best aroma" with honeycomb AFC and with 9 holes open and centered in the direction of the coils. Increasing the air flow you get cooler vapor, while closing the flow the strength of the "throat hit" becomes notable but also appreciable in certain occasions of emotional stress.

I installed the Dead Rabbit 3 RDA J Edition on various Mods including BF, never having problems finding a balanced style for size and shape. However, I must say that the very good max e-liquid capacity of this RDA makes me prefer a "pure Dripper" type of use for convenience. Dead Rabbit 3 together with this new "Joker Edition" version is definitely confirmed as the best Dripper RDA that I own.
