Hellvape Dead Rabbit Mini rda
I have the smallest rda I've ever tried in all my time vaping. It has a 20mm diameter, and honestly, for its size, it's a beast. This is the new Dead Rabbit Mini, and it's designed to be used in single coil mode to provide brutal flavor.

Packaging
Let's start with a brief description of the packaging. The atomizer comes in a rectangular box with Hellvape's signature red and black colors. We can also see a small window through which we can view the atomizer itself. A small rectangle also indicates that it's designed for RDL use. It's also noted that this is the mini edition, and as you'll see later, the atomizer itself, along with the beauty ring, is beautiful.
On the back of the box, we find the atomizer's main features, as well as the box contents:
- 1 Dead Rabbit Mini RDA
- 1 Organic Shoelace Cotton
- 1 0.45Ω Ni80 Fused Clapton
- 1 BF Pin
- 1 Accessory Bag
- 1 User Manual
- 1 510 Drip Tip
- 1 Beauty Ring
Atomizer
Let's start by talking about the shape of the Dead Rabbit Mini. As you can see, it's a really small atomizer, though with the beauty ring, it looks absolutely stunning on most single-battery devices. The airflow intake has an insert that makes it very, very aesthetically pleasing. As you can see, the airflow intake consists of four simple holes, on both this side and the other. Adjustment is done by simply twisting the atomizer's cap. When it's completely closed, a single hole remains open on both sides. It's a very simple but very effective adjustment. I have to say that it filters the air very, very well, and with all the holes open, it provides a perfect RDL vape. In addition, it can be very, very restricted when closing the airflow, which can be perfect for someone who loves an MTL vape.
As you can see, the drip tip is a 510 (more focused on RDL and MTL) and comes with two included in the box: one resin and the one you see in the photo. Both feel very good on the lips and are very comfortable since they are so small.
To disassemble it is really simple. You just pull the cap upwards, and it comes off like butter, especially if it's been used before or if you've already taken a few puffs, thanks to the e-liquid's lubrication. The same goes for the drip tip; you just pull it straight up, and it comes off without much effort.
Here, I'll show you the building deck. As you can see, it has four screws. To install your coil, simply unscrew the two screws that are diagonally opposite each other. Once you've trimmed the coil to Hellvape's recommended length (5mm in this case), you place it in the holes and then tighten the screws little by little. (I tighten them slowly and alternate sides to avoid deforming the coil too much.)
It's a very, very small building deck, but it has plenty of space to work with. I don't know the exact diameter of this coil, but I think you could put a slightly larger one in if needed.
From this picture, you can see the airflow intake. It should hit the coil directly to get the best flavor.
After inserting the cotton into the coil (remember, it shouldn't be too tight or too loose—it should offer some resistance when you pull it from the side but without moving or deforming the coil), you should tuck the ends into the bay designed for it. This is where the liquid you drip or squonk will be stored.
The assembly and setup are incredibly simple, which is why I fell in love with single coils. It's so quick and easy to change the cotton whenever you need or want to.
This is the threading part of the atomizer. I'm showing it to you because it might be interesting for those who use a BF pin, because yes, it comes with a BF pin. I personally don't use a BF pin, but it was tested for this review, and I have to say it works wonderfully. The liquid reaches the ends of the cotton perfectly and is supplied to the center of the coil.
Vaping Time
If you've read any of my atomizer reviews before, you know that I like to try them with the coil and cotton included in the packaging, so let's do it.
After stabilizing the coil and setting up the cotton properly, we're ready to test it. But first, we'll drip some Blond Tobacco e-liquid with caramel notes and thoroughly saturate the coil. My first impression was that this atomizer, for how small it is, really fulfills its purpose and then some. The design of the cap, being so reduced in size, provides truly brutal flavor. And again, for its size, the amount of vapor is by no means small.
I have to say that with a good artisan coil and some tinkering with the coil's position, this atomizer would be twice as good as it already is. It's definitely staying in my rotation for a while, even though for me, nothing still beats the Oumier Wasp Nano.

Conclusion
To put it all in a nutshell, this is definitely a very good atomizer to consider, both for people who are just starting (because it's so easy to set up and provides pretty good flavor and vapor) and for those who have been in this world for a while. Hellvape always surprises me, and it's clear that, at least for me, they are leaders in mass-produced and affordable atomizers for all audiences.
