I was wondering if I did something wrong. I just started making my own juices using loranns. After awhile of putting many different juices in the atomizer it just stopped producing vapor. I may have put too much at times and once I made the mistake of putting loranns directly in the atomizer.(what a horrible taste). Could I have flooded it? I tried to clean them by running water over them and sitting them in coke for 3 hours. The paint started to chip off then I took them out let them dry for like 4 hours and they still dont work. no vapor.

Did I do something to break them or is it just bad luck that 2 of them broke in 10 minutes. anyone else have this problem or know if theres a solution to get it back and running again?

10-20% strawberry kiwi-omg its aweful 17%
pina colada-ok 15%
tropical punch-very good- 17%
pralines and cream 5%-pretty good strong though

Oh and I fixed them, i just sucked the hell out of both sides till nothing came out anymore and somehow that fixed them, god I was happy

Question for anyone though.........
How the heck do I get a nasty flavor out of an atomizer, this horid strawberry kiwi flavor has taken over and I can't get it out. any suggestions?

It's a red atomizer Rio- it has a nice paint coat like a car so I can't use coke-vinegar-lemonjuice- anything that is very acidic

what about-baking soda, or peroxide, dawn soap, alcohol(rubbing)

After reading this forum I got some of this stuff:
New Nu-Calgon 4207-47 8 oz. Liquid Ice Machine Cleaner - eBay (item 110239421392 end time Apr-26-09 11:44:44 PDT)

Worked great, It is 75% Phosphorous Acid.... same acids in soft drinks, but this has much higher strength. It is "food safe" grade. Depending how bad it is, let soak for 4-24 hrs. Then rinse with water and thoughly dry befrore using.
My atomizer wasn't real bad, so I only soaked for 4 hrs.
I wonder if a person could put this cleaner in a "ring/jewlery" ultrasonic cleaner machine? I think it work would awesome....

By the way, my Atomizer works fine, steams like a locomotive!

I've also read those cleaning threads and haven't most of them had strong warnings on how dangerous it can be for just anyone to be putzing around with solvents and then vaping possibly remnants of them?

"this isn't something that should be supplied to people... This is still advanced technique stuff. Not for novice users and not for those who aren't willing to put themselves at risk. Bottom line is that we don't know what this stuff will do to us once it's boiled up and pumped in to our lungs. ALL of these techniques are "use at your own risk"."

"I don't want to get served someday and end up in court because some newb who's been vaping for 4 days inhaled half a CC of Sulfuric Acid after thinking it was a good idea to clean an atomizer with the stuff."

I'm sure you're just relating your experience and trying to help. Folks can be directed to Tips and Tricks to read the full threads with warnings and safety materials and fuller discussion.

IMO such methods are not run of the mill and should not be hyped here in the New Members' Forum.
