What's up, guys?
So, I have two situations that I'm dealing with that frustrate the crap out of me:

The first situation is that I bought a Tobeco K4 clone, to see if I can get into rebuildables. I climbed a little bit of a learning curve, but eventually I got it right. However, for the last two tanks, the thing has been leaking like crazy! I filled it this morning and left it at home, because I simply can't put it in my pocket anymore... See the picture. It appears like it's coming from the very bottom, but it could be where the JC is also.... But it's A LOT, right? What could it be? It's not my wicking, I'm pretty sure, cause I've been using my Lemo Drop for weeks, no issues. O-rings? Which one, if you think is that? Where do I get a good spare kit?
Thanks on this point.

Second frustration... Since I decided that I am into rebuildables, I bought a KFL+ from C. Ordered on 3/19, the packaged was "despatched", yes, with an E, on the 20th, made it to JFK on the 22nd, and cleared customs the next day. On the 25th, it supposedly left the post office in Flushing, NY... and since then, it's been MIA. ...? It is 30 miles from my house to Flushing, so what speed does that give you?? Has anybody experienced anything similar with a package from C9, using Royal Mail?? I'm almost reaching to my analogs from frustration right now.

Ahh the joys of clonehood.

Since it started leaking have you rewicked it at all?

Only time I get flooding Is nasty old wicks

If it were me I would tear it down, clean it, rebuild it step by step.double checking each step.

Its so darn easy to pinch or tear an oring in this crazy thing. And some of the clone tolerances aren't the best including orings, and is doest help that toadbeco can really be hit or miss

I hear you about the clones, brother...But I wasn't going to start this journey with a $180 down payment.
I just tore everything down and washed it. About to reassemble in a few and see how it goes. No o-rings seem damaged, so that's good.
If I need, where do I buy a good replacement kit? And I don't want to wait 75 weeks, so FT is not an option, I guess.
Thanks for all the suggestions!

With decent clones around I don't expect anyone to start rebuilding slapping 2 bills down.

Spares huh.

Hmmm try
cloud9
Vaperev.
In taste.de

I really don't know too many US shops for a kayfun that also has parts kits.

I know vaperev carries all the official stuff for the real ones

Look around 101vapes, doubt it but never know

Thanks again. The leaker is assembled again and I may have just found the problem.
While it was leaking, I don't think I had the JC screwed down all the way when was putting it together the previous time... Hard to explain, but it was stuck halfway down, although it was still spinning after I assembled. I think that threw things off a little bit. If you look at the picture, there is a distance between that part and the next metal ring, and that distance is no longer there. I filled it with some juice that i don't care about too much and so far it seems good, knock on wood.

Interesting enough, nobody offered an opinion on my other issue... Where is my auth KFL+??

Well, I don't want to seem like I'm always down on the post office, but they sort of suck. I have never ordered anything from the particular vendor you are talking about…but I recently had an order from eciggity make it from Hawaii to North Carolina in 36 hours, and then take three days to make it the literal 5 miles from the postal processing center to my mail box. Sometimes I think they prioritize different types of mail differently, and that they leave things like first class mail and foreign mail sitting in a truck somewhere for a couple of days until they get around to unloading.

If you have a tracking number, I'd go to your post office and see if they can track it down for you. Usually, if I show up in person with a tracking number my stuff magically appears.

Thanks this helps. Just to be clear, the vendor I'm talking about is Cloud9Vaping from the UK... As reputable as they get. I do have a tracking #, that's how I know that the package made it to Flushing from London in 3 days, but can't cover the remaining 30 miles in 6 days... Arghhhh.
I called the 800 number today and opened an investigation and a complaint... We'll see how it goes.

You can get an authentic rebuild kit from Vaperev. There are clone kits a few places, too. Its probably the #16 o ring. Look at a parts breakdown online.

As for USPS, all I can say is

Thanks again, I might as well get that kit. The clone looks perfect to me otherwise. Don't get me wrong, if the authentic KFL+ looks as awesome as I hope, I'll probably get an auth K4 too. The Euro at least is cheap enough right now. It's good to feel like the Europeans did back in '09. :toast:

Mail from/in NY seems quite demented to me. Something was shipped to me from someplace in NY last Monday, and I still don't have it. And I have a pkg from Hong Kong that departed the Flushing USPS day before yesterday, no tracking updates since then. Your guess is as good as anyone else's.

I live in long Island and constantly deal with crap usps service.

As for your kf4, check all the orings.. Especially the one in the drip tip holder/fill cap. Looks like it's flooding out due to an air leak. Also, check the oring in the square that lifts up from the deck.

Thank you for the suggestion. OP here, had to rearrange my username after I was scolded for being inappropriate.
