IM still new to vaping and I decided to try high voltage. I got a DSE 801 HV. I don't know if it is a good kit or not. But I have it and I want it to work. Any suggestions or links? I can get literally 1 good hit before it stats tasting burnt. VERY BURNT. What am I doing wrong? I actually melted the tip of my first cart.... Please help!

Do not take long drags like you do on a LV PV. I like to "pump" the switch on & off during each drag. MOST Important, keep the atty WET! Carts are not good on High voltage, it is best to drip 3-4 drops of liquid directly on the atomizer coil, take a few hits, as soon as it starts to taste different, add more drops!

Thanks! Another basic question. If I drip 3 or 4 drops, how many puffs should I get?

You drip with an 801 differently than you do with a 510 or 901. They're bigger, so you start with around 6 or 7 drops, vape until the vapor production drops off and then add 4 or 5 more drops. Repeat the second step until you want to blow it out to switch flavors or just to clear it out.

Thank you! I had tried dripping 2 or 3 drops and had the same problem. Makes sense - the atty is definitely bigger.
