Hello everyone, first off thank you for welcoming me into this great community, I have learned so much here and credit you experts here with getting me off those smelly, nasty, cancer sticks. I started with ecigs about a week ago with njoy king bold which I believe are 4.5% nic. Those are absolutely fantastic, aside from price. So I did some research and found that people seemed to really like the Apollo extreme kit so I got one with 12mg tobacco flavored cartridges and haven't been at all happy with the vapor. It seems very inconsistent . Sometimes I get an ok amount of vapor and sometimes almost nothing, I seem to get more if I let it sit for 10 min or so for the first drag or two. Also even when I do exhale an alright amount of vapor there's no feel to it, I feel like I'm breathing in air but I want to feel that throat kick and get more vapor, pretty much something like the njoy king bold. And my battery is completely charged. So in order to get what I want do I just need a higher nic level, I was smoking reds before, does it have to do with pg vs vg or mixture because I believe Apollo cartridges are 100% pg but I could get an empty cartridge and use a different e liquid. Do u think I'm doing something wrong with my use of it that you could give me any tips for, or do u think the Apollo extreme ki just isn't for me and I should get a different brand. Whatever the advice thank you very much for taking time to help a newby out, I really appreciate and have immense respect for the opinion of the experts on this forum. Have a good one

First off welcome to ECF.

I don't know much about that particular brand. I did look it up and it is a cig-a-like that comes with prefilled cartos. The website states that the juice ration is 60/40 pg/vg.

It could be a bad carto on it. Most cartos are hit or miss. Have you tried more than 1?

Maybe getting some empty cartos and filling them yourself would help also.

Again these are just ideas as I have never used this brand nor even heard of it. My experience with cig-a-likes has always been bad so I stay away from them.

Someone with more experience should chime in soon.

Good luck happy vaping.

Hello Tewalk, and Welcome to ECF.

Sounds to me like you have little or no throat hit, you're comparing apples with oranges, apart from the look of the Apollo and the NJoy they are worlds apart in terms of Nicotine content. Your NJoy has 45mg compared to 12mg in the Apollo carts.

I would suggest you get a few carts with a Higher nic content. And as SilentScreams suggests getting a few blanks and filling with your own juice at various strengths will help you find what you really like. You may want to look at SmoklessImage, Vapor 4 Life, Ikenvape & Bloog for your carts, all those should work on your Apollo which I think has an KR808 connection

In the meantime try taking slower drawn out drags and seeing if that helps any, if you still don't get any joy and think there is something wrong with the carts call them up Apollo have excellent customer service and are registered ECF Suppliers, explain the situation with the carts and perhaps they will be able to help you or send you replacements.;)

Thanks to both of you for the fast and extremely helpfull replies. After hearing from you guys and apollos customer service everyone is in agreement that my issue is the nicotine level. I'm going to try some of the juice you recommended with much higher nic level. I've been frustrated with this for days and within 30 min had it solved here. Awesome community, thanks again
