HELP! A Quick Way To Dilute Nicotine Levels

Help! 8-o

The only juices I have are all 24mg and now they are all putting me on the verge of nicotine overdose! I just switched from XL cartos on my eGo to the new Echo-e cartos and my 24mg juice is giving me headaches and shakes now. I placed an order for new juice, but it will still be a few days before it arrives. I can't take more than 4 hits every half hour or so unless I want to OD. I can go back to my XL's where the 24mg never bothered me, but I really wanna use my new carto!!! LOL!

Considering I only bought three of the Echo-e's to begin with and have already filled one of them to the brim with a 24mg juice, can I somehow dilute the level to a lower mg WHILE it is still in my carto? I don't wanna waste this new carto and I fear if I can't find a solution soon I just may have to stab myself in the neck with a 1100 battery!

Diluting the juice can be done with some PG or VG - though it will also dilute the flavor.
You could join the PIF group and find someone to swap with you for some lower nic juice.

The juice I have in my carto right now is 100% 24mg VG tobacco flavor which I am just trying to use up (first juice I ever ordered), but I also have a 100% 24mg PG apple flavor. So I could just drop some of that into my carto and it will dilute the nic level even though they are both 24mg strength? It would taste like caca I bet, but it would be better than me having to throw away a brand new carto

look up the the reverse tyrn spin you'd be able to get the juice out of the carto, dilute it and fill it back up
mixing two 24 mg juices together won't dilute it at all you'd still be at 24mg. but allot of stores sell vg if you wanted to head to walmart or a health food store

Mad you can pick up some VG-vegetable glycerin. I got mine at Wal-Mart--look in the drugs dept--Humco brand--something like 3.00. 1-1(50/50) mix would bring your 24mg to 12mg nicotine so add more or less VG accordingly. It will dilute your flavor thou. Better then nothing in a pinch. I even vape just the plain VG no nic if I feel like I am overdoing the nic, but can't put the pv down...If you find you have a problem with the wicking with the VG, you can add a small amount of distilled water, along with the plain VG.....

If I were to actually buy some Glycerin from a drug store, could I use it to dilute juice already in an Echo-e carto? If so, how many drops would it take for a full 2.5ml carto? I just wanna know if it is even possible to dilute juice in a carto. Thanks.

No you'll have to use the reverse taryn spin to get what you can out of it. Then you can dilute it and put it back in. With those big cartos, you'll have to spin quite a bit. I had the same problem when I started and this is exactly why I don't recommend new people using large capacity cartos. Lots of people argue with me about that. I started at 24 for a while, got sick, went to 18 for a while, got sick, stopped at 12. I believe you can use 808 cartos on there. I suggest you get some juice in a variety of nic levels and some 808 cartos. Only use 808 cartos for a while. That way you can toss it, when you have a problem.

Oh and that VG is pretty thick. You might have to add some distilled water.

Thanks a lot for all the advice everyone! I went out to Walmart after dinner and bought some VG Glycerin and was able to use the reverse spin method to drain out the juice. Worked like a charm! I then mixed me up some new juice (was like 1.75ml of 100% PG and .75ml of the Glycerin) and it seems to be about right. Granted, the taste is off, but at least it isn't giving me nic headaches and the vapor is really nice so it will do for now.

Considering that the 24mg is too much for me now when used with the Echo-e's, would anyone think that 18mg still might be a little too much? I still need a good fix while I am vaping so I don't want to go too low, but at the same time I don't want to have to dilute another bottle of juice.

Try mixing a small amount with 2 (whatevers...drops?) of your 24mg and 1 (whatever) of the VG, that will give you 18mg to try out. I've settled on 18mg for me personally, but you can always try another small amount and mix 1/1 for 12mg.

How can this thing hit so hard on 3.7 volts? is it got a really low resistance?

If you are chain vaping, you might want to go a little lower than 18mg. I chain vape but I can tolerate 18mg just fine but I was a 4 PAD smoker.

Yeah, I seen this video once before and it is pretty much the same carto as the one he is using for the Echo, but the Echo-e's are designed to fit all eGo/Riva 510 bats. As far as I know it is not a LR carto, it has the horizontal coil which I guess makes it really good. I don't think it necessarily 'hits' real hard, but it definitely hits smoother and purer than any other carto I have tried. I have been vaping 24mg exclusively since I started vaping going on three weeks now with no problems in the XL cartos I was using, but in the Echo-e's, it is way too much. After my first four hits upon a freshly filled 'e', I was getting shakes really bad and the nicotine induced headaches.

I was thinking I might dilute some of my 24mg down to about 16mg today and give that a try. I am not a chain vaper, but I will take 5-8 hits within 20 minutes to a half hour if I am home. I would really like to try a 12mg just to see if it would control my cravings still, but I have heard diluting a 1-1 ratio of juice with Glycerin really destroys the flavor and can leave a weird film on your tongue and in your mouth. I have to chill out on ordering more juice for a little while because I have already spent A LOT on vaping supplies this month and my girlfriend is already joking about having an 'Intervention' called on me! Haha!

Btw, when I was a smoker I smoked Marlboro Light 100's, a pack a day for 20 years. Is there a mg dosage that would be equivalent to that? I ordered all 24mg juices when I started vaping because I was still skeptical that I would quit and I figured I needed all the help I could get!

Okay, mixed up some 16mg and it is still too strong in the 'e's'! It isn't as bad, but wow they really must be much more efficient than my XL cartos because the pure 24mg juice in those haven't once gave me any problems. So, I placed an order with Vapor Bomb for a 10ml 50/50 12mg of Cinna-bomb (shhhh, don't tell my girlfriend lol!) to give a try. If the 12mg is still too strong for me I am going to friggin kick myself in the face!

Ack, I just remembered that Monday is a holiday! NO MAIL! I hate holidays!

I would suggest that you get some with different mgs then if you felt like you were getting to much you could use the lower mg or vice versa. Like 12 mg, 18mg then you have your 24mg also or 16mg. I use different mgs throughout the day. Sometimes I will just vape plain vg no nic, flavor. Today I have vaped some 11mg and 24mg so far. I also have 30mg and 36mg on hand.
