Hey all, hopefully someone can offer me a solution to my problem.

I bought a CE5 eGo-t E-cig and began using it about a week ago. Its been working fine for a week but today i just cant seem to get a good hit. I have this metallic type taste and slight burning sensation in the back of my throat but the most annoying thing is i cant seem to get a hit. I dont feel the hit in my chest/lungs any more and cant get that feeling of relief that's been helping me stay off the real cigs all this week. Its a really dry draw and just not the same as it was a day or two ago.

I've read up a little on this but cant seem to find any information i can really make sense of, can anyone offer a solution or have the same problem and know a fix?

It would be much appreciated.( If you reply i would really appreciate it if you could use easy to understand words, like telling me what each part is after using the name etc as i dont have a clue at the moment =/ haha)

Thank you.

(here is the e-cig i bought in case you need to know the components etc.

The mouth piece? No but i have gave it a clean etc. It seems clean so i don't think that is the problem. I think it make be something to to with the atomizer(i think that is the name) its all so confusing. But basically im just getting a really poor hit, sometimes no hit, yet there is still vapour. Very frustrating when only in my first week of quitting =(

In my kit i got two e-cigs essentially, i gave one away since i am a nice guy that way haha. Looking more thoroughly into the one i bought im seeing that its not the most favourable e-cig on the market. What ones do you's have?, what would you say is a good reliable, consistent(strong hitting) vape?(any web links would be awesome).

ill try clean it again more thoroughly as the metallic taste/burning is actually pretty bad now as im trying to take stronger drags.

But in reply to Curmudgeon, i no longer have any replacement pieces at this time.

I understand the frustration. You just want a good solid hit. Make sure your battery is charged. A Battery fresh off the charger. Change the atomizer part to a brand new one. Fill it, let it soak in for a couple minutes. It should be just like a brand new setup. The only setup that gives me a consistent, keep me from cigs, vape, is the ego c twist with a vivi nova. No muss, no fuss.

I put a link to my kit in my initial post =].

I've been reading into ViVi Nova's and they seem to be very well liked. So im thinking i should get one as it fits onto my Ego-T battery. BUT WAIT, ive been introduced to the world of ohm's. People are saying that if you are to get a vivi nova you need to get a battery with adjustable ohm as that effects the hits you get. It would seem that my kit has a 2.6-2.8 ohm as standard and that in seems to be too high in other posts ive read. SO would someone be able to link me to the vivi nova, and a variable voltage battery that it would fit?, i know im asking a lot but it is very much appreciated. You have all been a great help so far, thank you.

Daniel, looking at the link you supplied it looks like you have 2 extra atomizer heads that came with your kit. Do you still have those? I use a 650 mah battery with CE4 clearomisers everyday! I really like the set up. Like someone above said earlier, the head is probably dirty and needs to be cleaned or replaced with one of the spares that came with your kit. If you've been using the same tank for a week it's probably time to clean it out.

Do a dry burn. Take the tank off then take the silicon piece off. You should be able to see the coil. Put it on your battery and fire it up for 6-8 seconds. Do this until you see the coil turn red. Do it as many times as it takes until you see the black gunk turn white and/or it flakes away when you blow on it. Then reassemble and juice it up.

Word of warning.....this can kill your atty but you should be fine.
