little help with my e cig.

i really enjoy my ecig, im using "A Clean Cigarette' brand with a 36mg menthal cart. i cant get a satisfying hit. the coffe filter gives me that good satisfying hit but i cant stand the flavor.

i dont have the cash for any of those fancy mods. is there any diy stuff i can do to make my e cig more enjoyable and hit harder?

What do you mean by "hit"? Throat hit? Nicotine buzz? Vapor production?

i guess it would be called a throat hit. i also dont get that feeling that i just got my dose of nicotine that you get after smoking a cig. im sorry if my questions are dumb i dont know how this stuff works?

Well, a 36mg dose is mighty strong

Try inhaling into your mouth and throat and NOT down into your lungs. Hold it there for a few seconds then exhale through your mouth and/or nose. Nicotine doesn't necessarily absorb in lungs the same way it would with a tobacco analog.

Or, as is the case with super cheap disposable no-name cigalikes, you got a stale dud

Ok, I took a look at the site. You're dealing with still paying high prices for a low end, cheap e-cigarette. You can only get so much performance out of a thing like that. They're asking $37.95 for a pack charger I could get for five bucks from China - including a battery.

With pre-filled cartomizers like that you have good news and bad news. The bad news is some times they aren't so pre-filled and you may have some that are dry. If you put one on and it's producing next to no vapor chances are it's already dried out. The good news is you can refill em. Gotta find a better store in the area that sells liquid. Bring the battery along too. If it's a standard 510 connector you will be able to get some empty cartos you can fill with whatever you like. If it's anything else you wasted your money anyway and will have to buy something with standard connectors anyway.

You have also hit e-cig 101: Vaping isn't smoking. Vape is essentially water vapor, smoke is smoke. It can't taste, feel or hit you like a cigarette because it isn't. You can tweak the experience, but if you are expecting an instant nicotine buzz off an e-cig you can vape yourself sick chasing that.

Bottom line is you bought a lousy starters kit. There will be very little you can do to improve what you currently have.

For better battery performance and the option for better juice attachments, you will need to upgrade to an ego battery setup with one of the clearomizers. You will need to learn to fill your own juice attachments with bottled e-liquid.

Unfortunately there's nothing you can do to cigalike batteries that would make them work like a mod, and if you did it would further shorten their already short battery life. There are some systems like the 510 that work better:
Joye 510-T Starter Kit
(for illustration only, not a company recommendation) but these have a very short battery life so most of us do not find them very practical unless you are a very light smoker to start with.

What got most of us off cigarettes for good was something like an Ego starter kit with a decent clearomiser like this one:
Kanger eVod Kit - Stainless
(also just for illustration). It has a much better battery life and a clearomiser that is set up right can produce a much more satisfying vape.

I know you are looking at the price tag, and you'll also have to buy some nicotine liquids but think about this: How much did you used to spend on cigarettes a week? How much is your health worth?

For throat hit you might want to stick with menthol. It might seem strange, but it is the closest thing I've found to the actual sensation of smoking. Try other flavours as well - you will find you like things that you didn't think you would, and hate things you thought you would.
