Hi, I need advise from veteran DIYers to choose some tobacco concentrates.
I'm getting crazy reading 10000 reviews and posts a day and yet can't decide which ones to buy.
Readings pointed me in the direction of FA, Inawera, and Hangsen. And guess that I'll like something like Turkish, Virginia, Desert Ship or similar, just guess.
It is for using alone not mixed with other flavors, preferably recommend the most concentrated for economic reasons, something to mix at 5% or less.
I'll be buying 3 or 4 to find what I like.
Used to smoke original Camel, or original Marlboro if that serves as a clue.
I'm beggining to mix my juices, the only tobacco I've mixed so far is TFA RY4 Double, but mixed it just yesterday, and by now I notice it too weak at 10%, hope it gets better after steeping.
I'm asking for help not for being lazy, but because I live in Argentina and ecigs are banned here, so I can't just go to a store and try flavors.
Thank you guys, you've been always very helpful.

P.S: Almost a month without smoking, and with no effort. Never been more than a day without smoking for the past 25 years, so I'm happy :)

¡Hola Fernando!
Good to see you again. I suggest that you go to ecigexpress or highdesertvapes and look at the many tobacco flavors.

I'm partial to Capella and FA but there are may to choose from.
Something else to consider is making your own NET with PG and pipe tobacco. I'm sure you can get picadura in Argentina.
Did your sister get your goods to you?

Oh, checkout wizardlabs.us for The Seedman's Captain Black toner.
You can buy it at theseedman but a little dram vial costs less at wizard.
I think you'll like it....now I want some mate LOL

Have fun. :)
Regards,
Hazy

Hi Hazy, yes my sister brought me my stuff, finally buyed a Topbox Mini, kanthal, Ni200 and Organic cotton, at MyFreedomSmokes as you told me, great store, and very happy with the Topbox, now building like a pro :)
I did, I've been looking in Ecigexpress and Wizardlabs, didn't know about highdesertvapes, I'll check it out. I'm not into NET by now.
With the mate you have no luck, I'm in the 2% of the argentinians that don't like mate LOL, but have one and yerba for guests :)
Gracias otra vez.

Anyway Bro. I'll get back to English so nobody gets angry.. ;)
I suggested making NET in case it gets difficult for you to get supplies.

LOl..Yeah. I have the little

and a five pound bag of yerbamate for those boring moments in life...

So, if you ever need to ask a question or whatever feel to message me.

Regards and Vape On! Ω

guess that I'll like something like Turkish
I like Turkish too. The following have been tweaked to my taste.
TFA RY4 (Double),---Good
re: The Flavor Apprentice Flavoring Thread
0.5 mg 30/70 Rating:V7.8 ***very good on its own. Will take other mixes.Very mild at end/start of day.

TFA Turkish --- Good too but I need to discover a better flavor mix to work with flavor--could be better.
re: Tobacco | Tobacco Recipes
0 mg 30/70 Rating: :7.5 *** Distinct Turkish taste.Musty smooth Tobacco flavor.

I am a tobacco vapor as well, and I've tried about 40 of them so far. Here's my rundown of the best for me:

Hangsen - try Desert Ship and Highway. These are probably the two most popular for a reason, they're really good. HA Desert Ship is completely different from the other brands, so this one goes to the top of the list (and it mixes as well as it stands alone). Highway will give you a slight nutty flavor that complements the tobacco well, very pleasant for us tobacco lovers.

Inawera - S'Camel (sometimes known as Dromedary) is the best "basic" tobacco in my mind. Very mellow undertone of ash with a mild tobacco flavor. If you want something stronger, Tobacco Symphony is not bad, a stronger than S'Camel tobacco with more forward ashyness. The "For Pipe" line is pretty good too (Dark for Pipe, Gold for Pipe, and more). Their Desert Ship is much different than Hangsen, stronger and more spicy but definitely an interesting vape worth trying.

Flavourart - To me their tobaccos are hit and miss, while being quite strong. I do like the pleasant cigar flavor of Tuscan Reserve. 7 Leaves is also very nice, a blend of 7 different tobacco leaves that lands it in the medium strength category.

I would start with these as basic flavors, and of course it will give you a good idea of where else you might want to go. Remember that almost all tobaccos require 2 to 4 weeks steeping time to come together, and their character can change quite a bit after a good steep. I like Hangsen at about 6 to 8%, while Inawera and Flavourart need to be tested at about 3% to start as they as much more concentrated.

Good luck!!

Another good cigarette type flavor is USA RED from Hansgen. I mix it at 4% and add 1% Dirty Neutral Base (DNB) and 1% Virginia Tobacco Absolute (TA) from Inawera and it is a nice cigarette style vape. The DNB adds a bit of an ash note while the Virginia TA adds a little ash while enhancing the tobacco impact. DNB and TA's are nice ways to make a good tobacco mix great.

I would also read the this thread Favorite tobacco flavoring discussion - Tobacco flavoring discussion only It helped me learn how to mix tobaccos which is pretty much all I vape now. If I would have read that thread earlier, it would have saved me a ton of money looking for ready made synthetic tobacco liquids.

Pardon the dumb question, but what is this thing, and how does one wrap a neat coil like that?

LOL, that has nothing to do with vaping, it's a southamerican infusion drinking thing, it's called Mate, you put a herb called Yerba Mate in it and then you pour hot water on it. And that is not a coil, it's something like a straw, you drink the Mate from it.

I haven't found a tobacco flavor yet that needs more than 5% as a dripper juice. I have used TFA RY4 Asian at higher for in EVODs, but I can't taste most true RY4s through anything else anyway.

I liked the regular Inawera line Virginia and especially the Cavendish but both smell up the room like cat pee, lots of it. Their Tino D'M series wasn't initially impressive but has grown on me as good go-to tobaccos: 555 (nutty), French Pipe (good all-around), RY4 (different, still good).

The Flavourarts I've tried had no smoky flavor, but I like them except for Glory is rather generic. Virginia is a great mixer and also tried/like 7 Leaves.

I didn't like Hangsen ejuices (hated Desert Ship) but still may have try their flavoring. Capella Bold was "what?". Hate TFA DkTab but their M-type is a standard for that basic cig flavor. Super Concentrates, need to try more, the French Pipe is very distinctive and could last forever (in blends, I need to dilute it because 1 drop is way too much).

A mix I've been enjoying, though might be too light for you as is and not sure how it would translate to a stronger mix: For 11 mL of base, 3 drops Inawera TA Garuda, 2 drops Inawera Dirty Neutral Base, 4 drops TFA M-type ejuice made at about 4%. Doesn't taste like a cig but comes closest to the sensation. The Tobacco Absolute (made from real tobacco) is really good (when not too strong) but not what you'd expect: very sweet, kind of sour/citrus, with a "natural" tasting grassy/earthy note and deeper complexities.

Also have experimented with using Goodejuice NET ejuices as flavoring along with others, for example 1 drop of their Fire Cured per 10 mL is almost too much.

Well, I guess this will be my order:

    Tobaccos:
    SC Real Cig
    INW-TDM Dromedary (S-Camel)
    Hangsen Desert Ship
    INW Virginia

    Complements:
    TFA Acetyl Pirazyne 5% PG
    INW DNB
    Capella Graham Cracker V2
    Ethyl Maltol PG

    Fruits:
    Hangsen Banana
    FA Apple

They are all from Bull City Vapor, is that store trustworthy ?
It was the only one where I could find all of them in stock, and better prices too, been looking at ecigexpress, rstvapes and highdesertvapes.
I think it is a good selection to start mixing, what do you think ?
Already have at home TFA Double RY4, TFA Strawberry Ripe, and Menthol crystals diluted in PG.
    Thanks again for your help.

Used to smoke original Camel, or original Marlboro if that serves as a clue.

If you were a marlboro or camel smoker you'll like the Hangsen red usa. That along with inawera's DNB will add the ashy taste that's missing from most usa type mixes. As far as tobaccos in general I would start with the Hangsen line of tobaccos. All easy to get right the first time and available at bullcity.
