Help choosing vv mod and batts for my aspire nautilus

I'm ordering an aspire nautilus and am having a difficult time choosing a vv/vw mod for it. As of now I have nothing, so I need batteries, charger, a mod, and perhaps a spare tank that comes with the mod as a kit.

The candidates are
Vamo v3/v5
Innokin SVD
sigelei zmax v5

I read that the vamo has inconsistencies and can be problematic.
I read that the SVD drains batteries faster than the vamo and also cuts out at a higher remaining charge.
zmax has a single button menu which might make me nuts, but people seem to like it.

All 3 are offered at FastTech for about the same amount.

I was set on the SVD but the voltage limitation where it won't operate past 3.5v of battery left seems cruddy. Not sure how accurate this post was

BATTERY
I am also a bit lost on what batteries and charger to buy for these mods.
Someone mentioned a $14 inteli charger from FastTech but I can't seem to find it. Hoping someone might navigate to FastTech and let me know which charger to buy with the mod I choose.

BATTERIES
What 18650 batteries should I get? I wish to have 2 for swapping. Link appreciated.

I get confused when researching too much in a short amount of time.

I like the single button menu on the Sigelei Zmax. Consider the Sigelei V3 or V5 as they are identical except the V5 has a cell phone charger and puff counter added with different OLED display. The Sigelei Zmaxs are shorter than the Vamos or the SVD. Look through several pages of posts on this Variable Voltage APV discussion for reports of issues with these APVs. You will find quite a few for the SVD.

+1 on everything yzer says there :)

Edit to Add - dont get your batteries and charger from fasttech. Use a reputable vendor like RTD. Do not skimp out looking for the cheapest you can find. Proper batteries and chargers mean everything and make a world of difference in safety and function :D Check out Baditudes Blog - for everything battery - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...tery-basics-mods-imr-protected-icr-page2.html

AW and Efest IMR batteries are good starting points. The Sigelei V3 and V5 are telescopic to fit the all of the following battery configurations: 18350, 18490, 18500, 18650 and 2x18350. The bigger the battery the more capacity and the longer you can vape without changing it out. The shorter the battery the shorter the APV.

For AW and Efest IMR batteries that will give you good C-ratings to power your device look for the following capacity ratings:

18350: 750 to 800mAh
18490/18500: 1100mAh
18650: 2000mAh

Great link. Seriously great link. It was quite confusing before that. Thanks for the advice.

Any idea if the The Sigelei V3 gets cloned or not? Would rather keep it stateside and prices seem cheap enough on eBay for it. Kits around $65 come with Sigelei battery and charger which I have to assume for liability reasons must be well made.

I haven't heard of clone issues with the Sigelei V3 or V5. You don't need to buy from China to get a good deal. This is the best deal I've seen from a US vendor on the brushed stainless steel V3 and V5: $39.95 and $46.95 respectively with a 30-day vendor warranty.

Desert Vapes: Sigelei V3

Desert Vapes: Sigelei V5

Varitube
is another popular vendor. They offer a 90-day vendor waranty.

The latest V3/V5 buzz is about the heat-treated stainless steel rainbow V5s available from a number of other vendors. Ask at the Sigelei Zmax V3 thread here. Some people have bought these with coupon discounts.

I have a chromedbrass vamo and a steel sigelei zmax;
I like the solid feel of the zmax in my hand but I end up using the vamo because of the ease of checking ohms and battery status using the +/- buttons compared to the zmax single button menu system. The zmax also uses stop and wait menuing because of that single button limitation whereas with the vamo you can clickity click click quickly because with multiple buttons you use one button to select and another to scroll; with the single button menu they use pause timer and you have to wait in order to select.

And for batteries try to get locally.

Efest imr batteries.
Sony vtc have a top of the line rep.
