help cleaning aspire BDC?

I've had my Aspire BDC for a week now and I've gone through 3 coils. It doesn't take much vaping to get that nasty burnt taste. I bought a 5 pack of replacement coils with the tank. Are these able to be cleaned? I've searched and looking on YouTube but I'm still confused. Can someone break it down for me? I want to save $$$ on coils but at this rate it's gonna cost me as much as smoking!

I usually rinse my used coils in hot water and then soak them in vodka for at least a day, maybe two. I then let them dry and reuse when needed. Sometimes, they are useable, and at other times I get the dreaded burnt taste. I found that the authentic coils last a bit longer than the ones I got from Fasttech. It also depends on the type of juice that I've been using in the tanks. Clearer juices don't tend to "gunk" up the coils so much and they seem to last longer and clean up better.

The burnt taste usually means you're not getting enough juice to the wick...either make sure you suck a little harder on that driptip or use a thinner juice. You can also puff it a few times without hitting the fire button to prime the wick a little better. It's easy to overcook a dry wick and get that nasty taste..once you've dialed in your method you may find your problem is gone. (I started on those Aspire Nova-S BDC's)

This ^^^^^^^

I've gone weeks and weeks on those coils just with this method. Clean the coil thoroughly with hot water, vodka soak for around 24 hours, then I rinse and let them dry for at least 12 hours if not 24. Seems like a lot of hassle but once you have a few in rotation it works pretty well.

I do this exact same process except instead of vodka i use to use rubbing alcohol. Thinking about it now tho after starting to make my own flavor extracts and such i would use his process with the vodka.
