I have been vaping, this time, for about a year. The first time around I used a Joye 510 and since my husband still smoked analogs I ended up going back to smoking. This time around he went with me and it's been almost a year with the TW Tornado tanks.

I need a change though. I am a pretty heavy vapor. About 3-4ml of fluid a day. I tend to go through atomizers pretty fast and at $10 a piece it's gets to be a little much. I was thinking I might would do good with a cartomizer with a tank. I know they tend to be cheaper per pack. Just not sure how the durability stacks up?

I also would like a PCC. I have had a few instances of a dead battery shortly after leaving the house, and my triplets are getting older now so I plan on getting out of the house a lot more.

So, experts, I ask you... What kind of PV do I want??? lol

That depends on what is most important to you, performance or appearance. Most of us have moved to better battery APV's instead of the small stick batteries or even the sharpie pen sized batteries. If you want long battery performance so you don't have to carry a charging case AND much more consistent performance, I would suggest a variable wattage model PV. Variable wattage model PV's are "set & forget". Once you set the power level you prefer, they automatically adjust the power to give you a consistent vape even as the resistence in your atty/carto/tank changes. Plus, you are not limited as to what atty/carto/tank you use with them as you are with the many eGo type models like the eGo C, Twist or spinner.

In the Variable Watt models I would look at the Vamo ($40) the eVic or the Zmax. The Vamo can be made physically smaller if you prefer a smaller sized PV, also.

Using cartos and tanks is very common. Most cartos cost about $2 - $2.20 and last anywhere from 7 - 14 days depending on how you vape and the eliquid you use. Carto tanks do make vaping less of a hassle.

If you are more concerned with appearance, then in the stick batteries I would suggest the Volt as probably the best performer in that category.

Here are some web sites to look at:
