So a few days ago my last order came in. I bought myself a couple regular Diamond Series batteries and a Stealth Series battery. When they arrived I threw them on the charger right away. Once they were finished charging I put them in their home (V4L Case) and continued using my Riva 901. My plan was to use my 2 regular Diamond Series batteries while on the go.

Today I decided I would do a few reviews on my YouTube channel. As I was talking about the quality of V4L's products, ironically enough, I went to show the vapor production on my brand new fully charged Diamond Series battery. No light, no vapor. No matter how hard I inhaled, the automatic switch wouldn't turn on.

I inspected the battery and it appeared like the cartomizer was VERY SLIGHTLY tilted. I put on another cartomizer and the exact same thing happened so I started getting frustrated. While watching a YouTube video the other day I learned how to "reset" Diamond Series batteries.

I reset my battery and it worked :D! There is a problem though...I have to inhale considerably harder in order to get it to function. I cannot take light drags off my new Diamond Series :(. I realize this probably isn't a big deal and honestly I wouldn't care if I had owned the battery for a while. But unfortunately that is not the case! This is a brand new battery and I expect it to work like a brand new battery!

When I put a cartomizer on it seems like I can wiggle it a little while it is on the threads and connected. I am starting to think I have a faulty battery and something is wrong with the threading which I have a problem with...don't worry, I still <3 V4L :).

Has anyone else encountered a problem like this? Any suggestions on how I can fix this issue? If I am going to have to send it back, how does that process work?

Thank you, V4L FAMILY!

Isn't he though....I like to think of him as St. Morandir! :p

Just want to add my :2c: by saying, after raising the post don't screw the Cartos all the way down tight...just screw them down enough to make contact. There should always be a paper thin gap between the bottom of the Carto housing and the rim of the battery connector. As well, screw your batteries into the recharger gently and only until the LED turns from green to red, don't crank them in. Screwing the cartos all the way down or cranking your batteries fully into the recharger will result in pushing down the battery post.
