Help, eGo-T

I have finally received my Joye eGo-T. I got it working not long out of the box. Not long into it, I wasn't pulling any vapor. I chocked it up to battery.

This morning, I used the fully charged battery and for a full 4 hrs, it was fine. Now, zip. The cart wasn't empty, but wasn't full, either. I switched batteries and atty's. Same thing. What am I doing wrong???

Some ego batts have the 5 click feature to turn it off. Trying clicking it 5 times within 2 secs. If it blinks, then you have that feature. It just may be turned off.

I tried that and apparently I don't have that feature. I'm still experimenting. It's highly likely it's the carts. I'm still looking around on this site... do dark liquids have an affect on the atty's? I was using an amber colored liquid for a while (Kahlua flavored) and it was fine until it got to a certain level (not empty) when it started it's problem (changed battery and refilled with Kahlua, no change). I switched liquid (Chocolate Mint, dark liquid) and it has been a struggle. I may have done a no-no, but I opened the hole on the fill end of the cart "a little more". It's giving me smoke and taste but no throat hit, like it did when I first started it.

I've had no issue with darker juices but can with some thicker juice. Like vg base and even some of my pg is a little thicker hence slower wicking. What batts did u get ? Can you test batts and atty's for voltage and resistance ? Can you hear atty sizzle when button is pressed ?

I have a 650 mAh battery. As far as testing, I don't have the equipment. Unless the atty is "wet", no sizzle. I did that yesterday....I thought the atty was dry after I cleaned it. No damage was done.
The dark (Chocolate) is thick. The amber is thinner.

Well if it sizzles then it must be firing. I find if I pull too hard too fast I hardly, get any vapor. It took me a bit to get used to a slow steady draw. I'd usually inhale a king sized smoke in 5-6 pulls. I forget what you call a king size in states . With a slow steady pull I can get clouds of vapor with my ego t enuf I can't see the tv on other end of room

This happened to me when I first got my eGo-T. A simple very slight push down on the wick with a needle (blunt end) solved the problem. Here's a link to a video that Vicky at Cignot (an excellent seller) has made about adjusting the wick. YouTube - eGo-t wick adjustment
Also, make sure the tank is fully inserted into the atty.

It's not random. The problem with the eGo-T is in fact, fundamental. It's that little wick that has to be positioned just right. If you aren't capable of adjusting that, and they don't make it that easy, you will eventually have problems because the manufacturing processes in China just aren't that precise yet. You're actually okay if it just needs to be pushed down a little but, what if it's down too far? I know how to get in there and pull it out, you might too but, it's a little trickier and it's beyond the skills of many people that use these products.

I'm really sorry your having problems Jazzgiz. Where did you purchase the kit? I got my tank and atty at Cignot and emailed Vicky and she helped me try to get it working.
