So im trying to draw up a blueprint to make a wooden DNA30D box mod . I have a cart prepared for all the parts except for the wires and the actual dna board, but im trying to get an idea of the dimensions and such on the blueprints. As far as parts wise, im going to use these:
A 12 volt. 5 amp rated button
2 Silver battery springs
2 Sony VTC4s
A seemingly gold or brass sealed 510 Connector
Now i plan on using all 20 and 24 gauge wire as per the recommendations for the board. What do i use for the positive battery connection, when im using the springs as the negative connection, and should i just buy pre made holders instead? Another question is if im using 2 batteries, how do i wire them both to the board when it only has a single positive and negative. Do you need to worry about amp rating for switches for wattage up and down? Should i get a higher amp fire switch than 5 amps, I know if it were semi mechanical a 5 amp switch would only allow 5 amps through but in a regulated device does the switches amp rating matter? As for charging, can i take a mini usb charging board out of say, an old phone or something and use that? What should i use to attach the board to the mod, some form of adhesive or what?
