When I placed my last order for custard, F.A. custard was all I could find in stock. Any ideas if I can add a vanilla to the custard to give it a bit of a vanilla custard taste?

I make mine with 12% van custard (CAP)....but you can use FA in place of what I use...but it doesn't taste as good til it steeps..then it is delicious! I have also added other van flavors w/ it..after steeping they are excellent .........I have added fr van deluxe, van swirl, van bean ic..I added the fr van del to custard at 3%...I really haven't experimented with more than one van with the custard....because my vanilla craving was satisfied...

I'm still trying different vanilla's & creams but haven't found the right combo. yet. Got some TFA van. custard but haven't mixed any yet as I have so much FA mixed. I tried a few vendors for some Caps. v.c. but all were out of stock. Have to wait a bit before trying again as shipping charges have gotten very high.
if you like vanilla custard.. might as well get the Caps over at ECX - the 120ml. size.. good price for a quantity you will use up, its the best out there, lots of recipes call for this ingredient...I have the old great and faithful version 1 - and the new version 2
