Hopefully someone else will have some suggestions for me. Regarding "hayfever" ... I will usually have a day or two here or there of sneezing, congestion, etc. but ... not like now! Also, we're in a dust bowl situation here in the Houston, TX area due to lack of rain.
About personal vaporizers: I was able to quickly transition from standard cigarettes to e-cigs in June.
Then around the end of August, I started all these awful "hayfever-like" issues. Since it has been a real daily thing, I'm wondering whether it is weather related or vaping related. I've used all VG, 50/50, and 70/30 with no difference. Also tried the ego tanks (no polyester filling) to a number of different types of cartomizers. My usual device is an ego battery.
Has anyone ever had the sneezing, congestion, etc. from an e-cig or could it just be a combination of both the dust in the air and pollen?
Both my doctor and dentist have congratulated me on quitting cigarettes (after 50 years of smoking) and I would hate to go back to them.

Katy,

It is funny that you put this question up today - I was going to ask a very similar question. I have been analog free for 5 weeks. So far it has been the easiest quit I have ever had - until the last few days. Like you I have been having congestion, runny nose and my chest feels tight....it feels like seasonal allergies to me. Like you I have tried different mixes of PG & VG and VG only - It doesn't seem to help me either. I even went back to some of my old faithful flavors that have never bothered me in the past thinking some of my new stuff is causing me issues but the symptoms don't go away. Today I took an allergy pill and a decongestant to see if that helps. I do suffer from Spring allergies, but Fall allergies have never been an issue for me before. I will give my allergy pills a couple days and then go see a Dr. if things don't improve.

Let me know if you figure out something in the mean time.

Well ... I went to the doctor today. Its a sinus infection ... she bluntly put at "you are a mess." Should have gone well before this but was really fearful it could be either the vaporizers or juice. Anyway, stopped to get the prescriptions filled on the way home so hoping I'll see improvement in a few days.

Hey! I'm in the Houston area and hay-fever type symptoms are arbundant for both vapers and non-vapers. Vaping dries you out and our humidty level is just now getting back to normal. Sadly, it's a combo of vaping and the dry weather we've had and the sinus infection are starting to go around! Some advice: use saline nasal spray to help moisten you nasal passages, even with your sinus infection and drinks lots of water! Hope you get to feeling better!

Thanks for confirming my thoughts that it isn't just the vaping. My doctor put me on antibiotics and a prescription nose spray called Fluticasone Propionate. Is that a saline type solution?
