Hello. I have been a smoker for about 20 years and went to the blu cigs in January of this year. I really enjoyed them, but I am not a fan of having to order and wait for my cartridges. I ended up going back to analog cigs for the convenience. Well, flash forward to last week when my wife saw one of my store receipts and for the first time realized I was paying $6 a pack. She....was upset, lol. Anyway, I ordered more blu cartridges but they have not arrived so (since I was out of cigs) I went to a local smoke shop and purchased a starter pack of some e-cigs I tried in the store. They're great and made locally (beachsidevapors.com). I think they are 510's but I can't tell nor is it listed on their packaging (or website). There is a picture on their site so maybe someone can tell me? I know it does not have the button on the side and it uses cartomizers.

Also, I have read several posts which mention making your own. Could I do that with this kind of ecig? If so...where do I start to research such a thing? Thank you for taking the time to read/respond.

Hi Family guy. Welcome to ECF.

You can refill the cartridges and cartomizers- you can mix your own "jiuce" eventually, but you might want to start with just ordering the nicotine liquid for refilling to start with. The best place to start reading is in the "stickies" at the top of the new member's section. That'll give you some background for looking around the rest of the forum.

The beachsider vapors website doesn't have pictures of the e-cig model they sell, but it appears to be a model that uses cartomizers. You can check here Vaping Guides or here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ecf-library/67326-wonderful-world-vaping-part-2-6-a.html for pictures that might help you identify what you have.

At a glance it looks like a KR808, but i really couldn't say from the pictures from the website. If you take pictures, try to get a closeup of the threads, and also use some sort of scale bar so people can get an idea of the length of the battery as a whole. I'm not likely to be able to identify it just from a picture- but there will be people who can. You might also email the company you bought it from and ask them about it. If they're not willing to tell you then i wouldn't deal with them. there are plenty of reputable suppliers to choose from now that you've found ECF. :)
