HELP I think I fried my battery

this is weird, please help me pinpoint the cause...

yesterday night I put a fresh aw18490 on my nemesis and aqua. vape for about 1 hour then left it on my bedside table non locked.

this morning wen I grab it it had leaked just a little bit, nothing to worry about but then tried to vape and nothing, disasemble everything (no juice inside) and reassembled and still didn't work, change the battery and worked.

checked voltage with a multimeter and it had absolutely no voltage. I was thinking that maybe it fired while standing but the aqua is still full of juice so I don't think that's the issue

the battery is about 7 months old but never gave me issues

Did exactly the same a few months ago, although my coil was pretty gunked up in the morning, as the battery had been slowly discharging all night (thought I had it locked out). Battery voltage was .24 volts in the morning....TOSS IT.

I won't discuss how many times I've done the same "battery-fry" with my flashlights over the years.....

Yes, I'm also a flashaholic.

but the thing that doesn't make sense is that the aqua still has all the liquid and the coils and cotton are in good shape

from what ive read if the batt gets that low its trash never yet had this problem myself but at the not too bad price for a new one id play it safe and get a new one

Find another meter (friend or vape shop?) and recheck it.

I have backup meters to backup my backup meters.

it's not the meter, it works with everything else just fine

well it's official i just retired the bat
