Help in choosing smallest mosfet for using small switch

I need help in choosing the smallest mosfet for using small switch and if you have recomendations for a really good small tactile switch thanks.

I have used both of these...especially the 3114 a lot.

IRF8736PbF on the left.....IRLU3114ZPbF on the right....but that little bugger is a PITA to solder.

WOW the IRF8736PbF looks really small and complicated where would you purchase either of these? would they show the specs?

Yeah if your not used to soldering I would go for the 3114.

Thanks for the reply. It has been a while for me soldering I think you are right the 3114 for me. Just a couple moore questions does it need a heat sink I will be using a 1.5 ohm dual coil cartomizer probably only around 4-4.5 volts ? What are the pin assignments Could not find that , if the unit is on its back heat sink down pins down left to right looks like 123 (4 being heat sink connection) which is which? Is the heat sink connection electrically conductive?

Its 1.Gate...2.Drain...3.Source...and yes the drain and the heat sink are the same. I never used a heat sink...it never gets even warm for a simple switch use. The pinout is at the bottom of the data sheet.

The IRL3114 is great. If your up for a challenge try a TI surface mount.

Just a regular pointed tip and lots of flux. You'll like the 3114. I usually slip them into a piece of heat shrink tubing to prevent any chance of shorting.
